This Is Why Scouts Are Drooling..

It's not going to take any one player to make me watch every game next year. We're 2-13, and I'm still watching every game. It's not the players, it's the team.

yah, i've watched everygame this season to, and im gonna watch everygame, for my whole life, cause one day the texans will win the superbowl and then we can rub it in all the peoples faces, that make fun of us

go TEXANS :redtowel:

Amen to that. Every game I'm in front of the screen hogging it. I might be arguing with it sometimes, I mean all of the time, but I'm there trying to will us to a win.:penalty: what do you mean holding?

do i smell a fair weather fan?

God yall do not realize how lucky yall are. I got stationed in michigan and don't get a chance to catch all the games (you can only go to the sports bar so much before people start questioning if you a alcoholic anyways) my cable contract runs out pretty soon so I'll be able to get direct tv and sunday ticket.

Or how about this:

United states coast guard. I'm stationed at traverse city air station mich (I'm the guy holding the line reeling people in, the swimmers are insane, haha).and since i've been here i've saved atleast 2 people. People like to knock the coast guard, but if you think about it they are the only branch on duty 24/ 7 (in a time of war or not, whether its stepping on a drug running boat we always take the chance to be blown away, I love my job though) and we were about the only service available around during hurricane katrina. God I could tell you some stories about that. That was a hellacious storm

Well what do you know, a fellow coastie. I'm stationed in Houston (lucky me) I've only been in a little over a year now.

are you serouis, I put in air station houston next just to get back home. So what kind of station are you at, the air station, small boat station, or the three cutters that are sent out of there. Whats up fellow coastie!

What rate r u just curious, I wanted to be a bm coming out of cape may (btw who was your cc haha I chose amt although the advancemant rate is extremely slow, I like to say hows it going to a fellow coastie.

I'm now stationed at Sector Houston which was Group Galveston. I'm an OS, I chose this rate because of the quick advancement. I wanted to be an AMT but it was closed at the time I joined. I'm proud to be an OS though.

yeah an os was a great pick, although I constantly bunt heads with the os's. but with that aside os's do progress much faster. I just like the aviation field and I'm probably going to pay for it,because they move up so much slower, but oh well. The hours aviation workers work is pretty much an 8 to 4 job and have weekends off. Unless some crazy elderly lady wonders around town we don't have to much work (but thats another story) So who was your cc.

My cc's were chief mason (pretty cool) and chief fabbo (not at all). I went through the Pitstop program being prior service navy. I worked on aircraft engines in the navy so I can relate to loving aviation. So who was your cc?

mine was naviro and smith

Funny video, but man, if any of those defensive players trued to do those P-buc blocks in the NFL they would be out of jobs REAL fast.

Bush is amazing, but he's only as good as the defense lets him.

He's impressive against mediorce college talent, many of whom are slow
a foot. Few are slow a foot in the NFL, we have 2 to 3 guys with the Texans right now that are probably faster than Bush.

what? are you kidding?

we have Mathis. thats it. None of our other guys could match Bush in a sprint, and if you count his agility, hes faster than anyone we have.

one of those few players that has that extra gear in the open field.

Bush runs a 4.28 40 according to NFL Draft Countdown. That means that we have 1 player who is faster (Jerome Mathis), yet he does not have the acceleration or the moves that Reggie Bush does.

They were talkin about Bush on ESPN and they said that if he actually ran in the combine he would be projected to run in the low 4.2's . I have a question for everyone who has DirectTV, does it cut out when its raining? I want to buy NFL sunday ticket so i can watch all the games, but i dont want to be TVless when it gets cloudy. Im guessin a lot of people just buy both, Cable and DirectTV.

Carr Bomb and Waltman and all your fellow Servicemen, you guys don't get enough credit for what you guys do for the country. Keep up the good work.
:redtowel:

Mathis would beat Bush in a race and Andre would be very close if he doesn't beat him, not to mention Andre is a lot bigger than Bush is. Dunta and Buchanon would probably be very close to Bush for that matter.

no, no they wouldnt.

Mathis ran a 4.28.

Bush runs a 4.28

Andre ran a 4.38
Dunta ran a 4.34

pburnt, who cares how fast he is.

Funny how they were able to get each and every single one of his rushes/catches from 2005 into one video.....and a 3 1/2 min video at that. I saw some nice moves, some poor tackling, and some HUGE holes that any avg back would have made into long gains.

But it does not matter, a RB is not what the Texans need. Having crazy skill players in college might work, but in the NFL you need your strength on the OL on the offense!

Do you mean the same HUGE holes that Domanick Davis has run through this season before getting caught from behind by a defensive tackle?

I have yet to see that Bush has run a 4.28 except on one rather unreliable website. From what I've seen of him and Mathis, I have to say Mathis is faster straight-line speed and has as good acceleration, although Bush is more agile than Mathis. I can see Bush running a 4.32 to 4.35 but not a 4.28, but I guess I'll wait two months and see what he does at the combine.

Let's not get carried away, Davis has never been run down by a DT, maybe caught from behind in traffic by a DE when he's having to dodge other defenders.

Alright the DT was a bit overboard, but you catch my drift. Dom Davis has had some big holes that he has run through only to get caught from behind from a safety who was on the other side of the field.

DeAngelo Hall apparently ran a 4.18 after practice one day, but was shown up by Dunta Robinson at the combine. I'll wait to see this apparent 4.28 .

As for the video? ITS THE PAC 10!!! Look at some of the blocks he gets tho, he gets amazing blocking which he wouldnt get with us.

Dunta and Deangelo ran the exact same time, 4.34
