the wonger need food said:Give what up? Pointing out that Davie Franchise is not an NFL quarterback? Not a chance...
God of Wine said:He is a NFL QB.

Zephyr said:Benched like Joey Harrington. That has worked out well.
the wonger need food said:Staying with Davie Franchise has worked out well... 5-21 over the past 26 games. (3) 200+ yard passing games.

LBC_Justin said:How is Brett Farve doing with a poor pass protecting O-line and no #2 reciever?
MightyTExan said:How's Farve doing on those interceptions this year?
You mean to say he is on a 3-11 team in a weaker conference and weaker division, on a team that made the playoffs last year.the wonger need food said:Over 1,000 more yards, 7 more touchdowns, better completion percentage, better record.
I could see you making this argument, but you can't say that in todays game or in last weeks game. We have made plenty of deep plays and deep attempts in the last two games.the wonger need food said:He has more than Carr certainly, but he actually throws the ball downfield instead of out of bounds or taking a sack.

the wonger need food said:It depends on your definition of "plenty". Compared to their own previous efforts, yes. But compared to an average NFL team, they throw downfield (over 20 yards) very rarely.
Zephyr said:There is a simple reason for this: Palmer and Pendry (not Carr).
I don't think anyone would say that Carr is a great QB, but until he has decent, consistant protection the jury is still out on him.the wonger need food said:I know... nothing is ever Carr's fault. He's a great quarterback... blah, blah, blah.

You are entitled to your opinion, but even with Peyton Manning this team couldn't win consistantly.the wonger need food said:The verdict is in IMO. He's proven time and time again that he is a loser.

MorKnolle said:Carr's stats for the day:
19/29 295 yards, 2 TDs, 1 INT against the 4th rated defense in the NFL, 6th rated defense against the pass. Hopefully this is a good indication to all of you what Carr is capable of doing when the offensive coordinator lets him throw the ball and Bradford makes some catches.
As for the comparisons to Favre (stats coming into this week):
Carr: 233 / 383 - 60.8% - 2170 yards - 12 TD / 10 INT - 76.0 rating
Favre: 321 / 519 - 61.8% - 3305 yards - 19 TD / 24 INT - 73.1 rating
I'm not saying Carr is a better QB than Favre (I think he is comparable to Favre at his age) but Carr has a better QB rating.
AWWWWLLLL CMON OUR CARR IS A LEMON ADMIT IT FELLAS THE SEASON IS LET RAGONE PLAY BEFORE HE IS BYGONEthe wonger need food said:That's what every other Carr apologist has claimed the past 4 years...

God of Wine said:What was DC's QB rating for the game????
MorKnolle said:107.7 off of both these websites I found:
http://home.new.rr.com/rosslahaye/
http://www.primecomputing.com/
Some websites give a bit different of a rating but both of these gave the exact same rating for his season stats as the NFL posts on their website, and the second of these sites will also tell you what the NCAA rating is in case you're interested in comparing ratings between NFL and college players.

God of Wine said:Not bad for a supposed 3rd string QB against a pretty good defense.
the wonger need food said:A loser is a loser. Gerrard led his team to scores at critical points in the game while Carr crawled under a rock. He simply cannot make plays when it counts.
But I'm sure he's not at fault. Some of you guys need to get over the man-crush, he's a happily married man from what I understand.
Sco-tai said:Has he made some dumb decision...obviously. But let's drop you on your head 200+ times in 4 years and see if you're any better.
Was this season a BOMB...sure. And if we had an improved line and coaching staff this year, then put the blame on Carr. But let's face it...the problems are by far deeper than Carr. And unfortunately, it appears to start with Casserly and trickles down from there.
