I'd like to believe that I can speak two languages, but I can't. That was English and I understood him just fine. But, I do business with a lot of Cajuns, so it's just a matter of comprehending various accents. Folks gotta' get out more if they cannot understand him.

I was born and raised in Orange around plenty of Cajuns, but none of them sounded like that.

I understood all of the words, it's when I tried to get them to work as answers to the questions he was given that I get lost.

Yeah, I understand him just fine. It's been awhile since I've heard someone speak like that, given that I live in Florida now.

Maybe it's a black dialect thing, but your inability to understand his style of English seems more agenda driven when many others comprehend him just fine.

I agree with Errant Hothy. Jacoby's points seemed like they were severely inebriated, but I easily understood the words.

The key points I got out of the interview were the mama bit as a term of respect, it has been while since he was is in NOLA and was happy to be back home, he's trading healthy diet for Louise E Anna Creole delights (can't blame him), would like to remain in Baltimore, but understand the nature of the business, cold weather could be a problem for teams that usually play in warmer climates, and he picks Denver to win. It sounded like at one point he saw Robert Meachem.

I totally agree my friend! He may or may not have had a buzz but irrespective, I understood him just fine.

he was on every bleepin' radio show in the Baltimore area this past season. M T W T F he was on either his show, or a buddies show....at least 3 times a week.

So to hear this interview, it sounded to me like he was suffering from the Budweiser Flu.....

He said that Peyton Manning is going to win the Super Bowl and that he is going to move to Denver for legal weed.

Dude's drunk. But he was a good sport to do the interview.

This just reminded me of a story I heard several years ago. A friend of mine was at a club in Houston for a special event, and there were flyers at the urinals promoting an upcoming party. The headlining selling point was: "Jacoby Jones parties here!"

So there you have it. Jacoby likes to party. In case you weren't aware.

Jacoby Jones, two other Ravens kicked out of club for being too drunk
It could be time for another Friday afternoon press conference in Baltimore that includes no actual conferring with the press.

According to TMZ (via CBS Washington), three Ravens found themselves involuntarily removed on Saturday from a Maryland bar for being drunk. Since bars typically include people who are drunk, common sense suggests that one must be quite drunk to get kicked out.

The allegedly inebriated Baltimore players were receiver Jacoby Jones, cornerback Jimmy Smith, and running back Bernard Pierce.

With the mind-boggling Ray Rice press conference on Friday and rookie running back Lorenzo Taliaferro’s arrest for destruction of property and public intoxication, it was a wall-to-wall bad weekend for the Ravens.
