Interesting Oiler's Stat

They mentioned this last night on 610am. The Oilers from 1967-1986 never had a season where they threw for more TD's than INT's. That is 20 years of QB ineptness that includes a few playoff appearances, including two trips to the AFC Championship Game. Anyone else find that incredible?

Well that maybe the best explanation for Carr's ineptness. "I love that dirty water, ooowww, while you're still my....."

I heard that last night also. Just shows you that what a gamebreaking running back can do to an offense.

Seriously the AFC Championship team of the late 70's for the Earlers was run left, run right, run up the middle and defense. I don't recall the OL of the Oilers back then being so great either. Pastorini got hammered also. Of course I was young back then so I guess I didn't pay attention to the OL like I do now.

wow, that's pretty amazing. And hard to comprehend! I gotta' wonder how many other wonderful stats the Oilers have in their history...
