What happened to Harris?

He was playing well at Rt in the 1st half and then the joke that's Newton took over in the 2nd half.

During the bye it's time to cross train Brooks at RT during the bye week. He played both LT/RT in college and certainly has the athletic ability to play RT. Jones can play RG. This is if Harris is hurt.

I've seen enough of Newton to last a lifetime. Cut him and sign another OG as depth. Lilja comes to mind.

Agreed, on the TD drive wasn't it Harris in there? I didn't see him after that

I have no idea why Newton was back in there. I can't imagine there is any worse RT in the NFL. Newton is just pathetic and this is just another example of dumb ass Kubes trying to be the smartest guy in the room who can turn a 6th rounder from a nowhere school into a starter on the o line.

Newton is just another Kubiak special. He finds these projects and wants them to work so he can prove how smart he is. Newton ain't going anywhere.

Yep

The Texans were snakebit in the 2013 draft.

B.Williams - Hurt knee, Texans Dr.'s should've been able to look at MRI at combine and see that Microfracture surgery was in Williams future.

Montgomery- Ankle, and didn't have enough agilty to play OLB. Has since moved to DE.

T.Williams- has bust written all over him.

Quessenberry- Breaks foot, unfortunate
Some WR I've never heard of - Gets hurt and doesn't contribute.

With a combination of

A. Bad cap mangement and poor FA signing (Reed)
B. Injuries
C. Below avg draft
D. Bad luck
E. Schaub injury

It's no wonder the Texans are sitting at 2-5 and praying Case will save their season.

You have seen him pass block right? The only thing worse than Newton trying to block guys like J.Houston/Hali/Mathis would be Brooks trying.
 
The Texans drafted 2 guys to play in the offensive line this year and both are on IR. Even Quess could potentially play RT even though he more likely ends up inside. But Shixx happens, hey they made a real effort to plug/correct the problem at RT, but they can't prevent players from being victims of injury.
