We've hit the bottom of the cellar.

Working?
Not only are we 1-12, but we are now regarded as self-tanking in order to get the #1 pick. Every messageboard I have seen has been covered with posts about the Texans throwing games. This is embarassing...

We're way below the bottom of the cellar. We've fallen down to the bottom of the outhouse, and the view isn't pretty.

So, so, suck my toe. All the way to Mexico. While you're there, brush your hair, and don't forgot your underwear.

And don't even make me pull out the "I'm rubber and you're glue" poem.

Our season was thrown last year at home against Cleveland. Since that game, it's been just a matter of time before this team reflected its true nature under the Dumb Capers era of "safe ball."

Let 'em be mad. At least we know when it's too late to save any shred of dignity that was lost at about 4:00 p.m. on 09-11-2005.

The fans on this message board aren't helping the perception.

Anyone out there who thinks the fans posting to this board represent the views of the Houston Texans organization is sadly mistaken and that's probably a fairly common situation for them to be in.

We can neither help nor hurt this perception. Those fans are just seeing the same thing we're seeing and some of them are doing the (however unlikely it may be) "smoke = fire" routine.

I would imagine that this board is helping that fire spread with a height adjustable fan.

I post this in another thread, but I think our back slide started about the midway point last year. Cleveland was just a "highlight" of that regression.

We were 4-3 going into game 8 of the 2004 season. Since then, we are an abysmal 4-18.

Well, as far as being the bottom of the cellar, look at the bright side: there's only one way now! And that's UP!*

*just hope it doesn't take us too long to get there

After the way these games have been going, I am awaiting the plague and pestulance and raining frogs.
