As a Raider fan I can only say you guys/gals are welcome for Lechler. The Texans now have the best punter in the NFL, and the Raiders have a young up-and-coming punter in Marquette King. Unfortunately, Sebastian Janikowski misses Lechler as his holder.

As a Texan fan I can only say we never said "thank you" because the Raiders didn't have any part in him signing with Houston.

The Raiders opted not to pursue re-signing Shane, because they have Marquette King.

If that sentence ended with, "so the Raiders gave Houston the money to sign him" I would say you are right, we better thank the Raiders. But I think they made McNair pay the dude out of his own money so...........
