Adrian Peterson: 1 carry, 78 yards, TD

Tacks kickoff returner gives opposition a safety on bone-headed play on opening kick.

Steeler pro bowl C Maurkice Pouncey carted off field. His own RG cut him from behind.

Luck 5 for 5 63yds. TD to Wayne, who had another long catch.

Colts 7 zip over the Raiders.

Did I see that score correctly? Pittsburgh up 4-0?? I don't think I've ever see 2 safeties to start a game.

CBS CORRECTION: They're now showing 2-0, but it said 4-0 a minute ago.

Safety Sunday.

Pitts, ny jets and Jacksonville all have safeties

I can't remember a week where there has been that many teams getting one.

Okay so I'm not nuts. I saw that too.
The Chiefs gave up a safety to the Jags too.
WTH!?!

I'm glad you posted because I kind of wondered too after I saw the correction.

New England up 10-0. The fans can go ahead and start filing out now. :rake:

There have been 3 safeties in 3 different games so far. Freakyyyy.

Man, the Colts sure were gifted with a gimmie opener.
The Raiders look totally confused on offense and defense. The Colts should put up 40.
:toropalm:

Alright. Julio Jones turns the ball over and the Saints turn it into 7. 10-10 tie now. I'm feeling better about that New Orleans pick.

Someone explain to me how the Steelers have gone two and a half quarters and haven't done anything offensively against the Titans...?
They only have the two pts from the safety
:mcnugget:

Lost their center & best offensive lineman Pouncey to what looks like an ACL. Rest of their line is poor. Best WR might be a rookie. And they added Todd Haley of Chiefs fame(infamy?) as the OC -- Big Ben was not happy.

Kyle Long looks like he's going to be a good pick by the Bears.

Jimmy Graham scores -- so, despite rumors to the contrary, my fantasy team will not be shut out this week. :truck:

Speaking of young QBs, T. Prior is looking better than I expected

...make that MUCH better.

[I wonder if he's still available in my FFL? I need a backup to Schaub]

3rd and 6 at the Buffalo 23 and Mario is not in the game. :mariopalm:

...annnnd, the Pats can't score from the 1 yard line.

The Steelers did fumble once inside the Tacks' 5 yard line and went for a touchback.

I picked the Colts in my survivor league, but a loss to the Raiders would be well worth the $20 I'd lose.
Its the Raiders. They'll figure out a way to blow it.

....mainly because I want soooo badly for the colts to lose

Kenbrell Thompkins: 10 targets/3 receptions = rookie.

Luck runs it in.

B. Gabbert 10/23 , 70 yards, 2 INTs, QB rating = 14.8

Raiders looking good in the second half leading the Colt by 3 with a bout 7 minutes left in the 4th.

Gabbert in midseason form. Who's their backup? Because this plug might have to be pulled after a couple of games like this. Unless they REALLY want to "suck for " whoever.

Man the Colts' D is sucking wind

Prior is running them to death
LOL

Edit: This turned out to be a much better game than I expected.
Double Edit: Prior comes thru AGAIN!

Raiders convert a huge 4th and 9 with less than 2:00 to play.

It really feels weird to be rooting for the Raiders....

But that last series of downs revealed his rookieness, between taking the sack and the terrible pick to end the game. Pretty exciting to watch, just needs to work on those last decisions.

When/If Prior learns the position he might be someone to reckon with.

The Raiders play the Jags next. They should win that one.

Maybe, but it's a good sign for them that they are still winning the squeakers they could have easily lost, just as they did with amazing regularity in 2012.

They should beat the raiders, that organization is in shambles. Colts do not scare me in the slightest.

Bills hold a small lead but refuse to work the clock. Snapping the ball with 20+ secs still in the play clock. May cost them the game
