Jamie Sharper reps the Texans

What did you all think of Sharper being our old time rep during the kick off?

When I heard it was coming he was the logical choice

Any complaints?

ewww when he left he made the comment "now he can put back on his SB ring, cause he's going to a good team again" or some BS.

I would of rather had Aaron Glenn rep us.

They should have gone with Carr. :kubepalm:

If it was up to me it would of been Chester Pitts. Love that guy.

To be honest though, who else could they have put up there that wouldn't have had every other fan base say 'who?'

At least this way, they would only be saying, 'thought he was a Raven?'

Boselli. :pinned:

I think he was HHNSNB. Yeah, he was pretty, and a pretty pitiful excuse for a #1 overall.

But that's just me. Maybe... :kitten:

If that is the standard for busts, aren't all QBs short of Manning, Montana and Marino busts?

HAHA cant exactly say he was good, come on man just cause the texans held onto him longer than they should of means nothing. He is comparable to some of the worst QBs ever drafted IMO. Look at his stats even with an ok team towards the end. Horrible.

I'm not arguing he was good. I just think bust gets thrown around too much.

a #1 overall pick that has as bad of a career as Carr is a bust, sure he went to a new franchise, and sure his first few seasons this team was horrible, but as the team got better, he didnt. Even with AJ out there he was bad. Not saying its all his fault but it is what it is.

Definitely Pitts or Aaron Glenn. I have no idea why they chose Sharper. I liked him but I never got the feeling he was a big part of our history or thrilled to be here.

Hell even Gary Brown would have been a better choice.

didnt like that they used sharper, they should've gone with aaron glenn or chester pitts.

Aaron Glenn, Chester Pitts, and ol Seth Payne would be my first choices

Chester Pitts hands down.

The organization was going to pick a QB either way and it came down to the original #8 or Joey Harrington. We were ****ed either way.
