2013 College Football Season

Man Clowney gives Renner no time in the pocket

Clowney got completely winded way too early, and they were even subbing for him liberally. He's not well conditioned. Come 3rd quarter, he was so gassed that he was just done. Completely poor effort after that.

Yeah, I watched a little bit of the game only (switched to the Texans game as soon as that came on) but by the end of when I was watching the announcers were even talking about how Clowney had his hands on his knees and looked tired.
Still while his motor was running, the guy looked unstoppable.

Just watched the Miami game
Wow
That was a field day for Morris and Duke Johnson

I loved Duke as a HS blue chip prospect going to the "U" even though the program was under investigation and is still currently on going investigation
But he went there went there was not a lot and now with Morris and his class going into there sophomore years Miami might make some noise in their conference.

Duke showed his worth and talent last year but just after this one game tonight he looks a lot better the moves the stregth and burst he showed.

He is so small and compact, so strong and fast.

I will be watching I'm closely this year as I did last yr and next yr.

Praying and hoping duke becomes a Houston Texan in 2015-16.

Morris too, wouldn't mind him. Morris is showing progression and taking his game to another level.

How do you get called for having twelve men on the field on the first play of the game?

Don't you name eleven starters before the game? :kubepalm:

Never mind that they went on to score, but Notre Dame?
Aren't them boys supposed to be at least "not dumb"?
LOL!

#61 Gabe Jackson, LG, Misss. St.
6'4 - 335lbs and can move even better than Brandon Brooks, I think.
Need to keep an eye on this guy.

Good grief, did anybody else see that stat? Mississippi St. allowed only 6 punt return yards all season?

Then just to show you how it could be done their punter Swedenburg blasted 66-67 yard punt that somehow stayed inbounds for the touchback. Now way could that have been returned had it been caught.

Swedenburg has a job at the next level when the time comes. Geeezus.

I'm just watching the game and it just popped into my head, felt like posting it. I don't get into draft mode until the end of the NFL season.

The guy moves really well and runs through people after the catch.

I think he's got potential...just in a bad situation..

No, he's always been terrible and everybody always goes back to his potential. "Well, he's a big kid with a big arm." He constantly makes poor decisions and hasn't improved even a little bit since his first start.

His situation has never been bad either. They have always had a good and disciplined defense to back him up. He's had some playmakers on offense in his time there. Thomas has always been the weak link.

I type this as he throws the ball into the ground to nobody on one of the worst passes I have seen all day. Little to no pressure on the play. I used to think he had potential too, but it was never realized.

Morris will get his best test this week (Florida) and we will find out if he is the real deal. He needs to complete more than 60% of passes. Last year only 58% and that translates in to < than 50% in the NFL

Not a big fan if Morris, but the Canes defense got it done against Florida.

What on Earth is Texas Tech wearing tonight vs TCU?

It looks like gray-slash-purple or something like.

They have awesome school colors and do that to themselves...lol.

I don't know what I just watched. There were a lot of questionable calls in the Tech/TCU game. Even the announcers had no idea what was going on.

I was at the game so I don't know what the announcers said, but I agree that this was a strange game as far as officiating went.

And grey uniforms suck. I hope I never see those things again. All black, I can live with. All white, I could have gotten used to. All grey for a school whose colors are red and black? Someone is smoking something they should not be.

Yeah, I remember SCar rolling out some military fatigue grey urban combat style ones, those were weird too and the Tech ones reminded me of those.

For the record, though the stormtrooper unis the A&M team wore against Alabama were nice, I hope we go with the black ones. Those look sick, even if some people were whining about how they didn't fit with Aggie tradition.

Those may have been for the Wounded Warrior project, where the jerseys are auctioned off after the game to raise money for wounded veterans' medical care. Texas Tech did that and ended up with a really cool design--there was a demand for the jerseys after the event was over, so now they do it every year (and sell tee shirts with that design as well). I think Kansas State is our next Wounded Warrior game.

Well, the design may not be the best imo, but that is a really great cause they're doing it for. More power to them.
