Wonder if he might have sustained a collapsed lung by hitting his chest on his way down. Or a ruptured spleen that could have caused loss of blood with accompanying oxygen desaturation. Cardiac contusion (bruise)could cause similar symptoms. If he has suffered any of these, he would not be available for our season opener.

The San Diego Chargers -- more than any team in the AFC West -- can't afford another injury at wide receiver.
Michael Gehlken of U-T San Diego reported that pass-catcher Eddie Royal left Saturday's practice in an ambulance after falling hard to the ground while attempting a catch during an 11-on-11 drill.
Royal initially got to his feet and made his way to the trainer's room before stopping and going to the ground. Trainers treated Royal with an oxygen tank as coach Mike McCoy, general manager Tom Telesco and teammates gathered around. After an ambulance and two fire trucks arrived, Royal was loaded onto a gurney and was carted away before practice resumed.
McCoy told reporters that Royal was having trouble breathing and will be hospitalized for examination.
