Mainly that we have RB depth but also that we could use more picks and have more important needs to fill. If Gaffney leaves in free agency I would have to say I'd want us to draft Bush and use him as #2/#3 WR (AJ #1, Mathis #3/2), 3rd down RB, and PR. If Gaffney stays though, I would trade down to around 7-12 and draft Eric Winston.

But we dont have "quality" depth. RB is what is hurting this team in my opinion...
 
I take Bush , he could line up at any number of positions and upgrade them .... RB , WR , KR , PR .

Before watching the Fresno St. game I probably would have said trade down to 8-10 and pick up the best available OT but that game changed my mind (along with the Notre Dame game) and the fact that Chester Pitts has looked very good at LT since moving back there from LG .
 
First thing that jumps out is that you DON'T use your #1 franchise pick to do kick off and punt return duty. He MIGHT be a good reciever, but that isn't known. Can he catch...yes, but he isn't a WR at this time. Is he a RB....yes, but we have one of those who is pretty fair AND we are paying good money to. MIGHT Bush be a great player...very likely, but we have a whole bunch more positions that need work before another RB is concidered. I would love to have Bush, but we have to fix more than just adding glamor.
 
I don't think there is a problem with putting your first pick on kickoff and punt return duty. If the guy is explosive and unstoppable, why wouldn't you use him? The Titans use Pac Man Jones for punt returns. The Falcons sometimes use DeAngelo Hall on punt returns. Phillip Buchanon was used on punt returns by the Raiders.
