Good point maybe just a camp bodyThe dude couldn't stick with two of the most WR needy teams in the NFL. No thanks!
They were also two of the most pathetic football teams in the NFL.The dude couldn't stick with two of the most WR needy teams in the NFL. No thanks!
Which further proves my pointThey were also two of the most pathetic football teams in the NFL.
Bring him in...
We cut Jacoby when we were WR needy...Which further proves my point
No thanks....
It has been documented that Jacoby asked for his releaseWe cut Jacoby when we were WR needy...
I'll never understand that take.
We have picked up a bunch of cheap free agents that have come in and played ok to really well....from good and bad teams that deemed them no longer usefull...
If we can sign this guy for really cheap what would it hurt to give him a look?
Usain Bolt made 20.3 million in 2012 without being hit by anyone. I don't see that changing lol.Usain St. Leo Bolt, OJ, CD (pron.: /ˈjuːseɪn/;[8] born 21 August 1986), is a Jamaican sprinter widely regarded as the fastest person ever.[9][10][11] He is the first man to hold both the 100 metres and 200 metres world records since fully automatic time measurements became mandatory in 1977. Along with his teammates, he also set the world record in the 4×100 metres relay. He is the reigning Olympic champion in these three events, the first man to win six Olympic gold medals in sprinting, and a five-time World champion. He was the first to achieve a "double double" by winning 100 m and 200 m titles at consecutive Olympics (2008 and 2012),[12] and topped this through the first "double triple" (including 4x100m relays).[13]
His 2009 record breaking margin for 100 m, from 9.69 seconds (his own previous world record) to 9.58, is the highest since the start of fully automatic time measurements.[14]

Why not sign this guy up ? @ 6'5"' & 210 lbs he's a pretty dang good target and I bet he'd give the term "seperation" a whole new meaning when running a fly-pattern vs a CB.
The scary thing for other sprinters has got to be that in the 100 m Bolt didn't even have that great of a start. I remember watching that race and just being amazed at how he got faster and faster until he crossed the line...Usain St. So....It has been documented that Jacoby asked for his release
Anyways, I'll still pass....unless he comes in to shag balls
This just goes to show you the quality that's out there right now. I was high on him when he was at Georgia, but not really much ever since. I know he had one good year, but if he can't stay on the field what good is he to a team?Massaquoi ran between 4'5-4'6 pre-draft.
3 concussions (that I know off), a knee and a hamstring injury later... Maybe we should avoid him ?!?
I wouldn't base my evaluations on what the Browns or Jags are doing, or have done. The Browns have also been looking for a QB during Massaquoi's time there as well & we know the Jags have a QB issue they seem to be oblivious of.http://www.nfl.com/player/mohamedmassaquoi/80664/profile
Nothing exciting here. Had his best season as a rookie and has regressed since then. So good that cleveland has been drafting Wr after WR during his time there.
He was drafted by the Browns & remained w/ them. The claim that he has been w/ 2 teams is incorrect. The Jags & Texans are reportedly interested in him.I thought he was drafted by and has only played for the Browns?
He looked good coming out of college & to be honest it would be a bit shortsided to hold his production against him when he has dealt w/ a Brown's offense that had Colt McCoy & Weeden passing to him. Massaquoi's injury history is what concerns me. Put a better team around him & he could flourish as he has showed potential in the past, BUT he has to stay healthy & that hasn't been easy for him.I liked Massaquoi coming out of college. I thought he would do more than he has.
I don't have a problem if they bring him in and give him a shot even though his injury history concerns me.
Attitude issues, or so some say. What is wrong with Brandon Lloyd? Why don't the Texans bring him in for a visit? The Texans need a veteran wr opposite Dre because no rookie can be counted on to start day 1. Wr usually takes a couple of years unless you get lucky.
I thought maybe he was asking for too much $. Oh well.Attitude issues, or so some say.
That should be an easy sell for Rick Smith. A one year deal here could do wonders for his career, if he can show that he can stay on the field.Put a better team around him & he could flourish as he has showed potential in the past, BUT he has to stay healthy & that hasn't been easy for him.
The issue is your last thought. I'd bring him in as well if he checks out injury wise, but man I just don't know if you can count on him there. He's the type of player we're gonna have to sign so if they feel like he's the best then so be it.That should be an easy sell for Rick Smith. A one year deal here could do wonders for his career, if he can show that he can stay on the field.
Kevin Walter!Of course he has issues...
If he didn't have issues he wouldn't be a free agent right now trying to catch on with a team...
If the Texans can find a guy that's had consistent production, with little injury concern, with out any off the field issues or personality concerns that fits the offense that they can sign for cheap, then bring THAT guy in.
The Texans are looking for potential as a #2 WR, not a #3/ #4 WR, which is exactly what the titans signed Walter to be. Focus, focus please. LOL!Kevin Walter!
The Texans announced Massaquoi's visit two months ahead of time? These guys are way late.
I reported this back in January, and the thread was inexplicably moved to the NFL forum.

Actually, what you said was:I knew he would be in for a visit in January.
Hopefully they will leave this thread in the right place this time.
There's nothing about that suggesting you KNOW jack schit. And as the mod said at the time, he was not linked to the Texans at all at that time. Now he is. This really isn't that hard.Hoe much you think we would have to pay him as a free agent?
The Browns certainly do not want him back. He is still young and a change of scenery could do him well.
I think he is the type of guy that we are going to have to go after in free agency to try to improve our wide receiver group.
I had no idea any T & F athlete made that kind of money, but nobody else in the sport has probably made that much ? But the 100 is the glamour event in Track (along with the 1500 M), and he's the greatest ever, though I've seen some guys argue that Bob Haynes running today with todays improved equipment, training, and running surfaces could compete with Bolt. Of course we will never know.Usain Bolt made 20.3 million in 2012 without being hit by anyone. I don't see that changing lol.
Well, thanks saved me a lot of trouble.Actually, what you said was:

Why funny? Massaquoi is a receiver Schaub doesn't have to worry about overthrowing.its just so sad and funny to see all this talk about needing a wide receiver when we dont have a receiver problem but a qb problem.
or underthrowing or throwing to the guy defending massaquio. Why funny? Massaquoi is a receiver Schaub doesn't have to worry about overthrowing.
No biggie. He sucked anyway.Jacksonville Jaguars ‏@jaguars 2m

LOL; I was about to post how Massaquoi didn't have anybody ahead of him on the depth chart that are of known quality. Edwards played only 4 games that one year.No biggie. He sucked anyway.
