Steelb, when you have some time, can you sticky this thread, please!

I'm going to put all the resources that we might need in this page for quick reference in case anybody needs it.

If you guys remember something, or think of something, please put it in here.

.....

Listing of all the draft picks in order including comp picks:

http://espn.go.com/blog/nflnation/post/_/id/71298/current-2013-nfl-draft-order-2

Notes: For steelb, dutch, or blake to prepare the draft order in each round and to update mock draft selections.

Notes: For all participants in the TT Mock Draft

Let's bring back this method of contact to move things along faster. Basically, when you make a pick, you email the next guy on the list. In order for this to work, everyone needs to be able to receive emails. Go to User CP and add your current email. Then make sure you have receive emails enabled:

All you have to do is click their user name in the signup thread to see "Send email to ..."

Hey 76, I got an easier way to keep track of the draft, and make the information searchable by team, position or college. I put the data into a Google spreadsheet and have it available to view by anyone with the link:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AscQRwKjB5B9dGc3SmxVcHhlLUlseFdfLVp2Rjl3V2c&usp=sharing

I also added all the GM names to the picks so it's easy to view who was picked by each GM. Check it out.

As long as the information in the other thread is input as Player, Position, College and spelled correctly, this will be easy to update. I can give you and the other admins edit privileges if you want, I just need an email address to send it to. PM me that info if anyone wants to edit it.

That looks fantastic!

But don't make me learn new things, LOL.
I've been told about googledoc, but you know me.

It's probably best if you can update it whenever you have time.
Show me anyway, maybe my brain wants to learn something.

I just fixed a few names that I messed up due to the way it copied. Ndevine7 went to 8,9, etc... :)

Try hitting the filters at the top of the columns to view by types of positions or single teams, etc. It's really easy and quick to see for instance only 5 WRs have been selected:

Pick Overall Team General Manager Player Position School
13 13 Tampa Bay - Ndevine7 Tavon Austin WR West Virginia
16 16 St. Louis - RT22 Cordarrelle Patterson WR Tennessee
23 23 Minnesota - NC Texan Keenan Allen WR Missouri
26 26 Green Bay - Senor Stan De Andre Hopkins WR Clemson
10 41 Buffalo - Bong Justin Hunter WR Tennessee

OK, I'm a dummy. How does one search by position?

At the top of each column there should be a small box that you can click to set filters. Click "clear" to uncheck everything, then scroll down the list and check the position(s) you want to view. Hit "OK" and it will filter out everything except for that one.

So I found out that you guys couldn't use filters without having edit rights. I fixed it now to where there is a single secure spreadsheet that only I can edit, and there are 5 draft sheets available for you guys to mess with. If someone is using one of the sheets, just use the next one. Those sheets will automatically update as I enter date into the secured one. They are simply identical copies of it, but this way I know none of you can accidentally delete stuff :)

...and how the hell does one get to these drafts? The link takes me to the secure sheet and I find no "draft" option 1 through 5. Sorry to be a PIA. This would be a GREAT tool if only I can get a handle on it.

Thanks, Dutch.

It works just like excel. There are separate sheets at the bottom of the page. The first is the Draft Secure sheet I made that's not editable by you guys. The others are copies Draft1, Draft2 and so on. Select one of those and try filtering within that.

Can anyone else confirm tht what I'm saying actually works? I can't view it from your perspective on my phone.

Here's another cool chart of the selections by position. It appears that the chart images in posts update with the changes to the spreadsheet, which is pretty cool.

Bump

Another new feature to the spreadsheet, I'm now tracking the conference! See how incredibly skewed the draft has been towards the SEC:
