I have always been the first to cheer for the losses this year because they mean better draft choices. I was actually at the game today, though, and when we were winning, it was fun. I wanted us to win so badly I could taste it. Thats how the players must have felt too. I don't care if we don't get the first round pick anymore. I just want the players and fans to remember how much fun football is supposed to be. And the next time you want the team to lose, go and watch a close game in person. Its a life-chaning experience!

If you want your team to lose, how can you be considered a fan? The idea of getting a higher draft choice by losing goes against the entire idea of being competitive. Besides, getting the top draft choice is like qualifying for earned income credit. It's nice gettting it, but believe me, you DON'T want it!

I'd say it's better to keep wanting to win, but ultimately to fail more than you succeed at this point. I can't help but want the Texans to win but I know that there's almost nothing to win for at this point. No playoffs in our immediate future and I think once you reach 1-10 the pride thing is kind of out the window.
I'm more concerned that Capers & Co might come up with a little mini-win streak against other lousy competition and that somehow that might let them get their heads out of the noose. They need to go.
