This should actually be a good test for the Texans. They go against a 3-4 scheme all the time in practice, but this time it will be live, against a team that has perfected it! Don't sell this Steeler team short, bad season last year, due to bad secondary, bad coaching, and a bad attitude. There are alot of guys on this team out to prove something this year, with contracts up and wanting a renewed one and that could be BAD NEWS for the AFC Central. I look for the Steelers to rebound from last seasons' uncharacteristic play and finish second in the division. The Texans are a little banged up at running back, and will need balance towards the end of this game to win it. The guys we just signed, aren't goping to cut it! The first team offense will continue to show progression, but the Ragone isn't ready for the big time!

Yes and yes. Tommy Maddox is there and probably starting the game on Saturday like last week.
And Big Ben is looking good for them. He has impressed them so far ..
Score .. I'll say Texans 14 and Steelers 17. That home field advantage .. :(
 
I forgot about that Ben guy...thanks. I have a good friend that loves the Steelers and I now remember how excited he was to get that guy.
 
Put me down as Don't know/care. The scores in preseason games are meaningless. It depends a lot on who uses their better players the longest/most. I'm just hoping for no injuries, that all our guys get a meaningful learning experience, and give their best effort.

Yea. I hope everybody stays healthy too. What do you think about Cowher? I'm surprised to read on NFL boards that some Steeler fans want to replace him. I always thought he was a solid coach and took risks which I like.

Well, The Texans first team scores twice and makes them both TD's this time. Banks and his group score twice as well (A TD and a FG) and Ragone gets some love this week with a TD for the third string.

I'm thinking 31 points.

The Steelers are going to score 7 under Maddox and then Rothlesberger (sp?) is going to get another 10.

Make theirs 17 points.

The Texans win 31 to 17. Nevermind that they've never broken 30 points, that changes next weekend as they show some more growth and go into the game with some carryover confidence. Shame it couldn't have been in two games that count though.
