Sound FX:Texans-Patiots

Glover getting run over and looking around for a ref instead of immediately hustling down field for a tackle tells me a ton about this defensive mindset. This segment didn't do Quinn any favors. I don't think he looked very good. We'll never see Schaub fire his players or the refs up like Brady. Schaub has the worst body language in the NFL.

Agreed. It gets VERY annoying to see his poor body language at times, but I think it's something that comes with the territory.

You just deal with it and accept that that's how he is. Many use that point to detract from his competence as a leader, I don't necessarily agree with that. I don't think it's fair to say it's an indictment on his leadership ability, because we don't get to see everything that goes on behind the scenes.

Still, it's borderline infuriating at times to see it.

The game as whole didn't do many if any favors for anyone associated w/ the Texans to be honest. Manning looked rough outside of his kick returns & Kareem gave up on the long play he gave up to Welker by not chasing him down after the catch. It was a great catch by Welker, but once kj realized Welker had caught it he just started jogging towards him. That was a sad display as well, but was just one of many for the Texans that day.

As far as Quin, PFW are claiming Quin is the Texans top priority to re-sign. I like Quin & hope they lock him for a while. I believe he still has room to grow as a safety considering its only his 2nd season at the position.

problem is from the start we looked like a team that had already lost that game, besides Watt i saw no confidence from anyone. Really kind of sad

The Casey drop/no TD after the opening kickoff was ironically the worst start we could have had imo. 7 points there and maybe our mentality is different. But this team is too inexperienced in these types of games to not let that get to them some way some how confidence wise.

The Schaub misfire to a wide open Andre in the endzone probably didn't help either. Inexperience or not should not matter imo. They simply have to learn to move on & produce. The excuses are tiresome & getting old. This team possesses too much talent to keep resorting to excuses for underachieving. The Rams were one of the worst teams & quickly rose to being 1 of the best under Vermiel & Warner & there were no excuses of youth or inexperience. They just simply when out there & won. It can be done, imo, its just a matter of can this HC & QB get us there.

I wish I hadn't watched that. It seemed like a team that knew the right things to say out loud, but didn't believe what they were saying.

Brady's body language in his loss to the Ravens was pretty unfortunate. But I guess the bad luck of ref tackles will do that to you.
