Falcons & Seahawks Gameday Thread

Didn't see one. I'm sure everyone's out at a bar getting ready for the Texans game but whatever.

Richard Serman seems like a huuuuuuuge dbag
I have no rooting interest here. I do like Tony Gonzalez. Don't care much for Matt Ryan and him trying to prove he can win in the playoffs. Really like Russell Wilson.

Falcons' pass D looks fierce. Dunta is balling, LBs are balling, I think the LBs have 3 passes defensed already.

Jacquizz should start over Turner, with Turner getting short yardage carries. Had Rodgers on all my fantasy benches just in case :)

Falcons actually not getting raped early in a playoff game... they're gona win this one easily now

I can't stand the falcons. Andy team dumbte robinson plays for needs to lose.

Unfortunately the Seahawks look sluggish so far.

Mistake not to take the points there.

Completely agree. I told my wife I don't get some decisions in the playoffs. If this were the regular season the Seahawks would have done the sane thing and taken the 2nd quarter points.

Yikes, 20-0 just-like-that. (pending the xpoint)

Yeah, that was an opportunity for them to have some success on the field, now they've got nothing to show for it & in a bigger hole to boot.

amazing how the falcons only have to beat rookie QBs essentially, @ HOME, to get to the super bowl...
this could be their year.

All the Falcons have done this season is win. And get zero credit from the "experts". It's about time to give them some credit as a outstanding football team.

Agree, but these teams don't look on the same level as the 49ers I saw yesterday. Notably Seahawks O & Falcons D.

this is the falcon's year... no elite veteran QB to have to beat in the playoffs

while the NFC is in a swing to the younger athletic QBs, there's still time for that. it's time for Matt Ryan to solidify his eliteness.

Same here. As little attention as the Texans got nationally I think the Falcons got even less despite having the same record through most of the year.

Seattle should have killed the clock on first down and kept that time out in their pocket in case they got tackled in bounds.

Woefully one sided this half on the scoreboard - the Hawks are shooting themselves in the foot repeatedly.

In terms of moving the ball, it hasn't relaly been a hugely one sided affair - a mixture of poor game management, and poor coaching calls for Seattle have been the difference in my opinion. Carroll needs to start making better decisions and preparing his rookies for upcoming situations, and the Seattle offense needs to calm down and start getting to work.

Game is definitely not over though - with playmakers on D like Seattle's there is always the chance they have the lead by half way through the 3rd.

My call for SEA to win today's not looking so good right now. This Falcons team looks pretty complete to me. Don't know if they're up to keeping up with the 9rs we all watched last night though.

Ok Seattle - get a stop and make this interesting........weren't you down 2 TDs to the skins? Yeah I thought so, you're down 2 now too, do your thing..........give us a game.......do YOUR thing.:kitten:

Atlanta looks poised and ready to take the next step. Seattle is capable of coming back quickly though. Tony Gonzales is such a beast.

Falcons - must be nice to do well in the regular season and have home field advantage

Teams like Baltimore don't care about that. It is what it is & they're going to play whoever & give them everything they can handle.

Doesn't matter if it's on the road or at home, until our guys play like that it don't matter where the game is played.

That Falcons drive was a game killer. Can't see a comeback route for Seattle now - they looked on the up after that quick touchdown drive as well.

this

Seattle's early bonehead mistakes took them out of this game
They are moving the ball well and this SHOULD be a game. Stupid 4th and 1 call, stupid clock management to end the half.

EVERY thing I post on these gameday threads ends up being the opposite...

Texans are gonna get their asses kicked today :)
