The single most uplifting stat over the last 30 years

I go kerplunk
Over the last 30 years, there have been 11 teams beaten in the regular season by 28+ points that come back to face the same team in the playoffs. In those 11 rematch games, the dog, the team that got demolished, has won outright 7 out of 11 times in the playoffs. Keep hope alive Texans fans, F!*K the haters, let's go Texans!

Kubiak has been waiting to unleash his super secret road playoff game strategy for this very moment.

New England is in a lot of trouble.

:overreact:

Let me hold onto a slight glimmer of hope that the Texans play at the highest level and NE comes in playing below average ball... Fudge.

Watt gonna Watt, AJ gonna AJ, and Foster gonna Foster. Pat fans will be crying about this loss for decades.

Or not, maybe.

Texans will be going back to Houston with their tails between their legs.

Beat down dogs.

You could be right, then again you might not be.
I'll second that Super Secret Road Playoff Game Strategy..
Couple days ago I dreamed the Texans won. I awoke with a smile and tears in my eyes.

Hes gonna unleash the dynamic Brown duo (kris and chris).

We will be down by 2 points late in the 4th quarter and Chris will throw a HB pass that will get intercepted close to the endzone. We will stop NE with less than a minute, drive down to FG range where Kris will shank the game winner. Afterwards, Kubiak will tap the podium and say everyone played a great game and its on him. Kubiak will then take a vacation to Denver, all while making plans to draft 5 TEs in this years draft.

Good. We need depth at TE.

Uh technically we'll be coming home to host the AFC Championshiop game after we kick Brady in the gnads.

Most people understand that teams want to be playing their best football going into the play offs. Unfortunately, that's not the case for the Houston Texans.

Our best football was probably Buffalo, right after the bye. We had our running game going, we had our passing game going, our triplets (Schaub, Andre, & Arian) were all doing their thing, our defense was still doing their thing..... It had been downhill since then, reaching a low Monday Night in Foxboro.

However, we've been getting better ever since.

New England on the other hand..... they played their best game that same Monday night, & have been trending down ever since. Maybe Miami was that low & their on their way back up... but it's hard to tell against Miami. Beating Miami, even in a blow-out doesn't really mean you've got it turned around.

Winning, but playing poorly. You know what I'm talking about Texans fans. You were worried when Jacksonville took us to overtime.... the Pats had their own issues against that same team.

The last time fans dreamed we won we got smacked around by the patriots. Would rather not dream about it and just watch it happen on sunday afternoon.
