Sunday Night: Niners @ Hawks

37 Frank Gore points and I win my league. No thanks to Hakeem BumAss Nicks not catching a single ball.

Seattle is one team that would be scary if they had home field throughout. If you get them on your schedule just hope it's your home and not theirs. San Fran won in SF, but Seattle is a different animal in Washington.

I wonder if 49ers fans are freaking out like our fans were earlier.

I'm still waiting for you to make a football post as opposed to a board Nazi post.

You say nothing about football and everything about the fans that follow the sport. Are you a teen?? Just curious.

You can use

Nice to know my post got deleted. Hope Showtime saw it before it was.

Anyyyyyway.....that was a brutal hit by Chancellor. Wow. Haven't seen a clean hit like that in a long, long time.

Is there a readily available link to the TOS?

Yes. You agreed to it when you signed up. There are also board rules which should be common sense, i.e. it is moderated to keep it a family suitable place. Attack posts but don't insult posters. We allow a little jabbing outside the NSZ. Inside the NSZ we are a little looser but still do not allow direct insults. If your posts are regularly ending up with asterisks you should be getting a clue your language is not permitted. Calling someone a jackass is going to get your post deleted. As I said, we don't edit posts, we delete them.

As a personal note which is not binding at all - try delving a little deeper into conversations and actually contributing more instead of being Mr. Angry Drive By Poster. That's up to you.

Is there a link to the TOS that I can view after registration? Just structure-wise. I know what's common sense and what's not common sense, just would like to see the specific draft. I like comparing different TOS with the one I'm most familiar with at another board I visit.

And I contribute a lot when there's something to contribute to. I go into snark mode when I need to. Seems to be a lot, lately. Not my preferred style. That's why I replied to Showtime the way I did. His comment pissed me off, as if he doesn't know I contribute and as if he doesn't know that I'm not a teenager. Frankly, if other people are allowed to post multiple threads full of the same worthless nonsense (look at the main forum, for God's sake. Look at people like ckhouston), I don't see why I have to get reprimanded for my fittingly-snarky replies.

Honestly the easiest way is to log out and then act like you want to sign up again. But look, the TOS are very general. Just learn the culture of the MB. Directly insulting other MB members as you did is not permitted. We don't write down every rule for every circumstance. Look in real life I am pretty profanity laced but don't do it much here. Just rein it in a little. I know you can contribute but you have been doing a lot of drive by posting lately.

PS - snarky is OK. I am snarky a lot. Just don't directly insult folks as you did.

I assume that structure could have something to do with closed versus open roofs or air stadiums. It has been said the roof at Reliant should always be closed because the crowd noise is more effective. However, it seems to work the opposite in Seattle with open air. Why?

From what i read & have heard about, the way the architects built that stadium it's designed so that the crowd noise is directed straight down to the field.

here's an articile on it: http://www.popularmechanics.com/outdoors/sports/football/4344908-the-loudest-crowd#slide-3

I see the motivation

If some of the Seahawks wanted Carroll to put it on Harbaugh, they had their reasons. Two Seattle defensive backs, Sherman and Earl Thomas, told Y! Sports that Harbaugh drove by the Seahawks' team bus in the Candlestick Park parking lot following the Niners' 13-6 victory in October and mockingly saluted the vanquished visitors.
"He honked his horn at the bus and waved," said Sherman, who did not witness the incident. "That happened - a bunch of the guys told me. Yeah, he was [honking]."

Said Thomas, noting that Harbaugh turned 49 on Sunday: "Happy birthday - that's what you get. Yeah, he [honked at us]. It seems like he tries to be a professional in front of the camera, but he does his antics, like that, when the cameras aren't around.
"He's just a big kid. We don't worry about that stuff. We just play the game. The best team won [Sunday], and it was convincing."

Jim Harbaugh denies honking at Seattle Seahawks bus

Honk-gate, the Phantom Honk, the Honk Heard 'Cross the Bay -- whatever you want to call it, San Francisco 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh says it never happened.

Following the Seattle Seahawks' 42-13 beatdown of the 49ers on Sunday night, two Seahawk defensive backs, Earl Thomas and Richard Sherman, told Mike Silver of Yahoo! Sports that Harbaugh honked his car horn and waved at their bus following the 49ers' victory over the Seahawks in October.

Harbaugh denied the accusation Monday:

"No. No, that did not occur. That's a fabrication," he said, via the San Francisco Chronicle.

Harbaugh said the incident couldn't have happened because he didn't leave Candlestick Park that day until after the Seahawks had already left.

"I can't think of a time when I've left the game and the other team's still been there this entire season," he said.

While this particular controversy might be contrived, what is not is the bitterness being built between these division rivals. The Seahawks -- feeling like they've had to live in the shadow of the 49ers hype -- have played with a chip on their shoulder all season, and gained a pyschological edge after Sunday's blowout.

Whether they meet again in the playoffs or we have to wait for next season's games, the acrimony between the Seahawks and 49ers will linger for a long time.
