NY Turbo props vs TN Tacks

I know nobody is watching this game, and honestly I'm not sure why I am but a couple of observations.

- Sanchez is terrible.
- Locker is pretty bad as well. He misses his receivers, he runs out of bounds behind the line of scrimmage, he starts coiling up at the first hint of pressure. This makes me pretty happy.

I've never seen two teams work so hard to lose a game. I don't think you could have scripted an ending that bad.

I guess the question is "will either of those coaches be around next year?"

Best ESPN reax post I've seen. It reads like a satire piece

Busy debut: Wide receiver Braylon Edwards, claimed on waivers only six days ago, started and played most of the game despite having practiced only three days with the team. He finished with three catches for 47 yards. If a player can come off the street and see significant time, well, it's a sad commentary on the receiving corps.

The McCourty curse: The McCourty family own the Jets. Cornerback Jason McCourty made two interceptions, keeping the family tradition alive. His twin brother, Patriots cornerback Devin McCourty, also destroyed the Jets in two previous games. He scored on a 104-yard kickoff return and a forced a fumble on a kickoff. The Jets are lucky there are no other McCourty brothers on the schedule.

Can someone give me the short version of the ending? I'd love to have seen it but dont have espn

With under a minute left, the Jets force the Titans to punt from inside their own 5.
The Titans punter shanks the punt under pressure, and the Jets get the ball at the Titans 25 with 53 sec left.
On 1st and 10, Sanchez fumbles a low snap in the shotgun, and the Titans recover.
Game over.

:spit: That's amazing

NY Broadway show! Finishing game in a dramatic fashion! People paid to see this game at least Jets can do is to entertain and able to talk about it for awhile.

It's important to mention it was 14-10 Titans. I'm sure he knows the final score, but to do the story justice, you have to mention they had a chance to win the game.

The football gods were gifting Rex & Sanchez the game. & they blew it.

You're right. I also forgot to mention that the way the Titans got the ball inside their own 5 before the three and out was a Sanchez INT. I think that adds to the story, too. :spit:

I think that's correct. Only SNF is allowed to have a flex schedule.

This is correct. Monday Night games don't get flexed. Looking at the slate of games this week, there were six games where both teams had winning records and ESPN got stuck with the Titans-Jets game. :spit:

I watched about 15 minutes of this game...it was so painful to watch.

Literally looked like a preseason game where 3rd stringers are playing 3rd stringers.

Sometimes it's better to just turn the TV off and go clip toenails or organize the pantry. This was one of those nights. What a waste of a game.

Lol just looked at the box score and Tebow had a better QB rating than Sanchez.

BTW Tebow didn't complete a pass

About the only good thing about this game for me was the classy act Chris Johnson did writing all those names on his shoes.

I didn't know he had it in him. :bravo:

Not only worse than Tebow--- of 37 players to throw a pass this week, Mark Sanchez has the lowest QB rating...this includes 1 punter, and 3 players with nothing but an incomplete pass.

Great stat! And good to see you jumping in with the sharks. The Sanchize is easily my favorite player to watch this year.

This is my oldest brother, ladies and gents.

And did you see his block? Home boy mixed it up on Lockers TD run. I was shocked.
