New England is one game behind us (depending on tonight) and they own the tie breaker. We have to win out to be assured of HFA. Denver is one game behind, but we own the tie breaker.
Simply, Houston needs to beat the Vikings and Dolts once more. If they do that, it won't matter what the other teams do.

This is the simplest solution. We could still win one more game and lose the other and be guaranteed at least the 2, but if we want the 1 we should just win out, at least win next week and hope Pats and Broncos lose 1 between now and then.

If there's a 3 way tie it will be Pats 1, Texans 2, Denver 3. Pats would get the 1 seed because they'd have a better conference record than both Houston and Denver. Then the tie-breaking procedure starts over for just Houston and Denver and the 2 seed goes to Houston based on H2H.
