Dez Bryant out for Year

They are saying he will see a hand specialist but all reports indicate surgery needed and will be lost. Crushing for a guy who finally had gotten it the last 6-8 games.

WR Dez Bryant could be out for the rest of the season. Pending the results of a hand specialist, but his finger injury could require surgery

Confirmed: #Cowboys' receiver Dez Bryant has torn ligaments in his finger and will have season-ending surgery, be placed on IR.

Everything I'm reading on Twitter's saying he's still waiting on what the hand specialist says and he's not done for the year...yet.

If he can deal with the pain why couldn't he wait until the offseason or wait until the Cowboys were eliminated from playoff contention before having surgery? Didn't Kobe play almost a entire season with the same injury?

Yeah, sorry for the early call but a recent report straight from Garrett says its 50/50. Its the pinky. Cant they just tape that to the finger and go? Wusses these days. :)

Well, I was going to say my son played darn near his entire senior year with torn ligaments in his finger. He wasn't a WR, but he was a TE and got a few balls thrown his way. I guess it depends on which ligaments? My son's were in the middle knuckle.

He has a fracture as well as ligament damage to his left index finger. In order to play after surgery, would require a cast..............even if allowed to play, wide receivers don't do worth a dang with that type of hardware..........can't "buddy tape" to stabilize this type of injury.
