#Texans DE @JJWatt was credited with a 2nd sack at TEN. He now has 16.5 sacks in 2012, 1 behind Aldon Smith for @nfl lead

Michael Strahan had 16.5 sacks through 12 games in 2001 when he set @nfl record (22.5). @JJWatt is on pace for 22 #Texans

I hope he breaks the record, but if the Texans know where they'll be seeded by Week 16 or 17 then it's likely he doesn't break it because we'll probably rest the starters for at least a few quarters. It would be awesome if he has another 2 or 3 sack game against the Pats though, then things would definitely get interesting.

That would be amazing, but it's gonna be hard with the nasty weather looming.

Yep. In the 50s & rainy. Warmer than Chicago but still wet. If there's anything on the plus side is it's Field Turf at Gillette Stadium vs. the quagmire that is Soldier Field.

50% chance of precip. and a low of 39 isn't too awful. That there is dang good football weather. It might very well change by the weekend, though.

Why didn't I think of that ?

I think the surface itself will give our guys less of a problem than Soldier now that you mention it.

We need any traction we can get.

Like I said, I worry more about the field condition than the weather itself.

Field turf not 3 inch grass like Soldier Field. I'm wondering if Schaub goes Mr. Mittens after some of the throws he had against Da Bears, though. The bad part is that I'm not sure how I feel about that.

Well deserved. He tracked down Locker and made that play before anyone else. I believe he also got credit for the forced fumble on this play.

Watch it here

A sack is a sack. I'm glad Jj Watt has one more notch on his belt.

But that was no sack. That was an unforced fumble. But the ground can't cause a fumble. Behind the L.O.S. it's a live ball. But the QB didn't have the ball.

If the QB doesn't have the ball, it's not a sack.

Again, glad he got credited with the sack. It was a stupid accounting rule that stole one from him earlier, the QB had the ball behind the LOS. So in this case, it works out.

He got robbed of one earlier in the season, this is just his redemption. Its all good

Lots of injuries on both sides, Lions and Texans, by the end of the last Field Turf game, in case no one noticed........and it doesn't rain inside Ford Field.........:chef:
