BUENO!
I hate watching the slow buildup to seeing some cities fans getting screwed out of their team so these people in LA can ignore another team. It's a damned shame.

So, what are selling points for prospective candidate franchise to move to LA?

I'd imagine it's PSL sales and additional revenue from the new stadium. Even then, the additional stadium revenue goes into the league pool. I think they get to keep the PSL money. So, that won't kick in for at least 5 years after they move to LA. By that time, you're risking the usual apathy to set in and then you sell only half of your PSL's, etc. Seems like this is a disaster waiting to happen, and if you're an owner thinking of moving to LA, you have to be in a REALLY bad situation.

They are doing a fine job of ignoring football in Jacksonville, so why not have the rich and snobby ignore you.

A) Well, LA has lost not one but two teams.

B) You're not very welcome around these parts anymore. Please don't ever join us in football celebration at Blue Crew. You are not welcome!!!

I kind of wonder if the push for an LA franchise has more to do with the NFL wanting another top notch Super Bowl/Probowl location than actually having a team in LA. New Orleans and Miami are getting old, and some of the alternate places they have used recently won't host another for a long time. Indy, Houston, Carolina, Phoenix, Jax, Tampa, Dallas, Detroit all hosted in the last 10 years, but I don't think any of them were ideal. LA is a perfect place to have the Super Bowl in early February. Big city, great weather, lots of media, good nightlife, etc etc. A new Jerry-world type stadium in that area would be a boon for the NFL.
