NFL.com - Texans' Wade Phillips wants to play Packers again

I hope we get that chance. Green Bay's offense on field turf in the Super Dome would be tough though.

Then he'd better take a Head Coaching job in the NFC North, because we aren't scheduled to play the Packers again until 2016, and there is little chance that both teams end up in the Super Bowl.

I think if we make it to the superbowl, we've got a great chance. The two NFC teams I'd legitimately be scared to face are Greenbay and NO

NO? I would agree if it were 2011. In 2012, I'd make sure to include the giants on a list of NFC teams not excited to face

NO with Drew Brees in the superdome... I'd be scared. Good quarterbacks can pretty much take over a game, and with them playing at home, the place would be nuts.

I'd rather play the Giants, but they'd be 3rd on the list

We have better talent than the Giants but Coughlin would put Kubiak out to pasture.

I was at the NO game and will agree that the place is nuts loud, but saints defense is so porous I would expect texans to control the game via the run.

I would like us to play the Giants. They scare me less than the Packers, who're just now getting hot. And NO in NO? :(

But I could also see us handling the Falcons pretty easily. And honestly, all Matt Ryan has to do is save the choking for the big game.

Ummm...it's not like we've produced results in big games either. I think that this season's Falcons would be a tough game for us.

They wouldn't be a cakewalk, but they haven't beaten any big time teams either. If they go out and beat the Packers, okay, that might change my mind. KC, Denver, the Chargers, Panthers, 'Skins, Raiders, Eagles... hardly a tough schedule. We would probably be undefeated with that schedule too. It's hard to say that the Falcons are a tough game just yet.

Just saying, who would you rather take on? Packers or Falcons? For me, it'd be the Falcons. I'd take the Falcons over against NO in NO too.

49ers and Falcons would be great matchups for us. Matt Ryan is not Aaron Rogers

And by the same token, neither is Alex Smith. A game against the 49ers would be a rough defensive battle.
Edit: but we have the offense to win that, whereas I don't think the 49ers have the offense to top our defense.

I saw this on the main page before i clicked on it and i didn't see the rest of the title. I swore I thought i was gonna see "Wade Phillips wants to be a head coach again" and i was gonna say not this sh*t again. :vincepalm:

Only 2 teams in the NFC scare.. Giants, and 49ers. Giants scare me a little more than the 49ers..but only because they have the swagger that comes with having a lot of success these last few seasons.

I agree with this. The Giants scare me the most in the NFC. More than the 49'ers, Falcons, Packers. They are deceptively more dangerous in post season.
