"I'm recording the Bills Houston game....

For future generations to look upon in amazement.

This will be a beating the likes of which nobody has seen before.

How many points will they put up on this atrocious excuse of a defense?

50? 60? The first ever 100 point game in the NFL?

Let your children, and your children's children look upon this game in awe and amazement, as a beating the likes of this will not come around but once every 2000 years!

They say the last time a football team took a beating as bad as this one was when Jesus marched 10 of his 12 apostles up and down the field to put a 212-3 beating on Satan to send him back to the depths from whence he came in the CFL's (Christian Football League) first and only Eucharist Bowl!

Fitzpatrick will be picked off 8 times by Jonathan Joseph alone, and Mario Williams will not make a tackle against his former team!

After the game Stevie Johnson will begin weeping uncontrollably and begging God to end this cruel joke and send his contract to the depths of hell!

Mario Williams will break down and begin crying when asked about Dave Wannstedt! (That's my defensive coordinator MAN!)

And then every single player/coach on the Bills roster will retire, and Ralph Wilson stadium will be sucked into a black hole. All that will be left is the now immortal Ralph Wilson, seated on a throne made of the souls of 100s of thousands of Bills fans from over the years!

People will speak of this day in hushed tones from then on.

The Bills will be wiped from all record books and all human history.

Nobody will know if it actually happened!

Except me.

Because I'll have the video tapes.

19.99 a piece for whoever wants one. Once I get the NFL's direct written consent of course. "

Don't get too cocky folks. I will admit even our board has rarely sounded as defeated. Even when we did we went out and beat some teams we had no business beating.

47 yards total offense - W v. the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Taking the SB winning that season Patriots to OT (where we got robbed on a bogus PI on Jamie Sharper) and beat the SB losing Panthers.

Any given Sunday. One game at a time.

I wish I could, but I'm afraid Ill need surgical removal of the part in my brain that fears the Texans will blow it at any given time.

I've got a lot of friends in Pittsburgh from living there for a number of years, and although they sent lots of ****** talking texts during the GB game I couldn't even respond in kind like I used to. I'm pretty sure the medical term is "post-capers stress disorder".

With treatment and support from friends and family I hope one day to get over the ailment and be able to once again talk smack with the best of them.

:goodpost: All. Of. This. I was talking to my Dad about the Texans after the Green Bay game, and he couldn't believe how negative I was being. This is pretty much how I described what I was feeling.

It's like a creeping dread that just hovers in the back of my brain.

The Bills are one of those teams that I'm always worried about. No matter how much they suck they always seem to be waiting for the Texans to come along. It's the old Oilers "comeback" game wound scabbed over with added salt from a couple of Texan-Bills games where I was certain we'd win and the Bills managed to put it together long enough to keep that from happening.

I'm not saying we're going to lose this upcoming game to Buffalo. I'm saying that this is a team that I associate with dashed hopes and painful losses. I will feel better when this game is behind us.

Until we play the Patsies we don't have a QB or offense that can stand up to Wades defense. We'd have to have BOTH a defensive AND offensive collapse to lose a game up until then. Which isn't to say we won't. Just sayin'

Nope I didn't watch it but it's good to hear. Maybe they're finally so bad that they can't jump up and drop a floater in our punch bowl. I said before posting that it had nothing to do with the current state of either Buffalo or the Texans though. I'm just saying the Bills give me the creeps. Be glad when they're in our rearview mirror.

Also, Mario hasn't done much of anything this season, but I can almost guarantee he'll notched up for this one

If you want to know how bad it is. my dad is a die hard bills fan he was born near buffalo. He always talks about how proud he is of his team win or lose. I asked him who you think will win the bills and texans game. I got this response "i love my bills but this is no contest,jj watt and co are going to go to hell for beastily as they screw over the buffalo""

I dont watch many bills games but from what i here they are last in total defense in the league this year, odd considering the 100 million dollar man..

What? He'll rack up a whopping 2 tackles?? :kitten:

Buffalo fans are not happy:

Mario Williams is the Cancer That is Dragging this Team Down

Although his teamates did not mention his name, it is obvious to me that they are calling Mario out now for not putting forth any effort "I don't care who you are".
He needs to be benched immediately to make a statement but we all know Chan will not go there. Hell, if his teammates see the effort he is putting forth and
knowing what he is making, don't you think that they are going to say - Why should I play 100% ?

For the record I do agree with you that Mario messed up taking the money and trading this team for that one. I think that he'd be feeding off of Watt's pressure on the inside and looking more like the guy he was supposed to be when we drafted him. Just when the situation was becoming perfect for him to exploit he made a grab for the money. Financially I can't take issue with it. Professionally the man screwed up.

IF our fans boo Mario like they did JJ, which I expect they will, Mario will just get pissed off enough to do some damage. Just hope our Oline is ready for this game cause Mario will come back to Houston ready to prove a point! JMO I think Texan Bill has the comment in his sig line.

I don't think the opportunity to boo him will really be there unless he gets a sack or something. Jacoby was easy since he was all alone on a punt return. I know Mario has this game circled on his calendar and is under a lot of scrutiny with his lack of effort. We all know he takes games off then shows up in one, pretty sure this will be a game he actually tries to play.

I don't care; he's an enemy now.

I don't blame him for taking the money, because frankly, the Texans simply couldn't be anywhere near the ballpark.

And remember I said the Texans needed to be really comfortable about his health status before they were to offer him anything.
It sure looks like they knew.

There seems to be a correlation between a defense sucking, and having Mario Williams as their highest paid player...hmmm.

Look, he may or may not show up, we experienced his inconsistencies for years with a plethora of excuses. He brought it like, one year. Buffalo paying him that money is something Casserly would have done years ago, so I'm glad it's not our front office making those mistakes anymore.

Mario will come in, get stood up by Duane Brown or Ben Jones and be relatively inefective in the overall scheme of things. We shouldn't overlook the Bills, but we shouldn't be concerned about them either.

I also don't believe there is any reason to boo Mario. I understand the Jacoby boos, I mean, at least he won't be returning for the Bills also. We need some covereage team help ASAP before it bites us in the hind parts against someone like New England or Chicago, or even Detroit...ok, maybe not so much Detroit.

Go Texans!

THIS YEAR
If Mario didn't make as much of an ass out of himself after he signed with the Bills by talking about the Texans organization and calling out for "JUDGEMENT DAY" on November 4th, i wouldn't have a problem with him. Believe me, now I plan to boo the hell out of him.

Only former Texan that has 100% immunity from me booing is Demeco.

This is my take as well. He's be stone-walled by Brown. They'll move him over Newton/Harris and hope he has more luck there. He'll get frustrated by his lack of success and blame it on his "injury" again.

ItsMyFault

It's on me.
Thing is, both teams are coming off of a bye. If the Bills play hard, anything can happen. This is the NFL. Like someone mentioned earlier about the Jets game, same idea going in. But the Jets came to play on both sides, even being undermanned. I'm not saying the Texans will lose this game, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was closer than most of those people in the forum are saying.

I can't imagine what it's like for them. Even in the 2010 season, the Ole defense, I was never that pessimistic about my teams chances. I've only read the posts quoted in this thread, so maybe I'm not getting the full picture.

However, I don't think they need to worry about 50 or 60 points scored against them. If Kubiak feels the game going that way & they're not putting up any points, or moving the ball (like the Ravens) I'd bet we would see more of Tate & Forsett, Our kiddie receivers, Harris & Jones.

Defensively, Watt may be done by half time. If it's going as badly as they say. We might even get to see Brandon Harris.

I'm just saying the Bills give me the creeps. Be glad when they're in our rearview mirror.
Then again, Wade probably has a few feelings as well. He'll probably convince Kubiak that Nov 4 is not the time to show compassion. Maybe it will be a 50 point blow out.

He's been playing almost exclusively against the right tackles. So expect him to play the whole game (or at least the vast majority of it) against Newton.

Didn't Fitzpatrick soul crush us when he played for the Rams? It was in Reliant, and the starter got injured...so in comes Fitzpatrick and he leads them back, nailing some sort of bubble screen to a WR (or a quick slant) and the dude was off to the races.

Fitzpatrick schooled us, granted back in the REALLY bad days of the Texans...but still, nobody needs to chalk this up as a sure-fire W for us.

Green Bay knocked us around really hard, and they were supposedly a wounded team.

Oh yeah he did. He started up a new twitter handle and was all kinds of mouthy about us.

A fan said something like "Sure wish we could have made you a higher offer to keep you here. Good luck to you in Buffalo," to which Mario then quoted that person and replied that Houston didn't even MAKE an offer at all. Never thanked the guy for his good wishers for him in Buffalo, just trashed the Texans.

And I think Mario also said something about "Be careful what you ask for, you just might get it..." which was some veiled reference to fans who wanted Mario gone and finally got their wish.

Then in his press conference, or some other media interviews, in the days just after he signed with Buffalo...he says stuff like "I am just glad to be somewhere where I can help them get over the top, get to the next level."

Some Bills dude, not sure if it was the GM or the owner or who, he says "We're going to use Mario where he should be playing, in ways where it uses his talent more." A shot at Houston, even if very subtle in its substance, as if we weren't as nuanced and hip to how Mario should be played. LOL.

All rolled into one big sushi roll of **** talk, this stuff made me mad. Just because we didn't overpay for Mario doesn't mean we didn't "want" him. We just didn't, nor WOULDN'T, retain him for the price the Bills paid. And they now know WHY. They are living it, and they can own all of it. 100% of it. Mouthy ass ingrates is what they are.

I hope we stonewall Mario and scheme to where he is the target of every play. Happy Welcome Home, Mario. Have a big piping hot plate of STFU.

Well now Mario is saying he needs wrist surgery or something right before the big "Judgement Day" game, so he might not even play. I was hoping he would since he sucks so bad but I guess we'll have to line up against someone who might try. :wadepalm:

I'm speculating, but.. Unless Mario's wrist is Broken, if he doesn't suit up to show the world Houston made a mistake, he loses any credibility he may have in the world of football. What does it say to any other player in the NFL?

I think it will expose Mario's problem: He's hung like a hamster.

Mario has everything to lose. Suit up or not. If he suits up, the expectation is that he's got to have the game of his season. There's no other game on his calendar that can shadow this one and I don't believe he'll impact the game much. As a positive, at least, he'll still continue to have folks in Buffalo wondering what's wrong with Mario. But not to even suit up.. The whole world will know.

I thought it was the 2-14 season. I remember the Texans were winning by 2 or 3 touchdowns in the 3rd (I think) and Fitzpatrick was their 3rd stringer. He came in and the Texans defense made him look like Joe Montana! I think they won in OT if I'm not mistaken. Ugly game for the Texans and brutal to watch! I rather like this post from that Bills board.

Houston is playing this year with a gimondulous chip on their shoulder. They were arguably the best all-around team in football last year until Schaub got hurt. They went to the playoffs with their 3rd string QB. And they got very little respect in the press for it. It's like "that team in Texas - you mean, the Cowboys?" The Texans don't want to win this year. They want to dominate. They will look at what NYJ and NE and SF did to us and they will be out to do more, better, quicker.

I would like to watch a game where the Bills play scrappy. I think we will be watching a vivisection.

As for Mario, taking plays off gets to be a habit, just like anything else a guy keeps doing. So he may want to play well, but his habits will stand against him.

Great insight GP. I see what you are saying. I also understand what many think about power rankings. However, I see power rankings as the media's example of what we as fans do all the times. Maybe subconsciously but we've all got an idea of who's good, who's bad, who's the best, who's the favorite to make the Super Bowl, who won't make the play-offs etc...

That said, & acknowledging the any given Sunday if the Bills come in & beat us, everybody is going to know something is wrong. It shouldn't happen.

IT did happen to the Packers, so stranger things & all. They responded & whupped us the following week. That whup'n they gave us should prevent a team like the Bills from coming in to Reliant & getting a win.

If they are who we think they are.
