Jeff Fisher. I had heard that his job might be in jeoperdy In Titan land. I have always admired his coaching style and wanted him to coach the Teaxans even before I had heard his is on the hot seat. As far as the Gm goes I have no Idea. Although I think I could do a good job. I will give you my 2nd,and 3rd round picks for that overated player that you have no use for anymore.................... How am I doing guys?:bomb:

I'd like to see Jimmy Johnson take on both roles. If he does, playoffs, here we come! He's a proven winner and built the Dallas dynasty of the 90's.

For the money, Jeff Fisher would be a great choice for coach.

GM - How bout a new face, from out in left field.....Bruce Matthews

While you are at it, bring in Munchak as part of the coaching staff.

No way to Matthews and Munchak. I want someone with a proven track record after the mess Casserly and Capers have got us in.

Look at what Millen's done in Detroit. And look at what Dwight Clark did in Cleveland. We don't need to take a chance on an unproven former player. I doubt McNair would entrust his $700 million business to someone like that, either.

You're doing ok. this is all Hypethtical...How about GM Sean Jones, Head coach Jerry Gray or Mike Williams. Basically the same thing Bud did when he elevated Fisher. The injured LB went from scout to GM (Reese) and the young d coach got his shot. Both Williams and Gray are Fischer proteges.
I'll get flamed for SJ. But he's very smart and he knows football. All the GM has to do next year is Get Carr an OLT.

I don't post often, more a reader of the others opinions here. I will admit I'm the friend that convinced Grid :) Now to convince the rest of you. First, I've heard all the talk about how Jimmy will never leave his boat. Hogwash! You dangle enough money, a slip to put his boat in down in Galveston/Clear Lake, and the opportunity to prove to the world that he was the genius behind the Cowboys success, and he'll not only show up, he'll beat your door down to do so. JJ like most successful men, is deep down an egomaniac. We all have some of that in us to some extent. Guys like Jimmy have it by the ton. There is still bad blood between those two, (Jones and Johnson) and don't think for a second that JJ doesn't wish to prove yet again, his dominance not only of the NFL elite, but particulary those who did their level best to act as if he was of little importance, or the reason for Dallas's success. Second, I've read some state the game has passed JJ by. Well, you miss the point of a HC, he doesn't run every aspect of the ship, he's the ships captain. He directs the assistants to where the ship will be headed. He has proven over the years to be a great leader when placed into this position. Spend some time looking at this mans resume, from high school, college, and a professional Head Coach. Yes, he didn't do quite as well at Miami, but, to me, that's all the more reason to motivate him to return to the NFL. Third, JJ believes in speed. When he drafted at Dallas, he always chose the fastest guy available at the position he was drafting. Technique you can teach, speed is something you're born with. I believe he can assemble a great coaching staff based on his assistants of the past. And my list of those guys is quite lengthy, and not something I'll persue in this post. There ya have it guys, my two cents on why there is no reason we shouldn't be trying to hire the best man for the position. Anything less is someone else's project!

Reese went from a DE in College to a linebacker then after his playing days he went to strength and conditioning coach to a linebacker coach to a Defensive coordinator for Bud Grant's Viking team....then he came to the Oilers and coached the linebackers before taking a front office job.

NO WAY ON JIMMY JOHNSON!!!!

Gary Kubiak is who I would want to see as the head coach. Would not have a clue about the GM

BUT I HOPE THEY DRAFT A FREAKING OT in the draft.
