Looks like there's enough left in the lobe if he wants to get an earring or something.

That'd suck being maimed for life from an illegal dirty hit. Glad it's just a piece of ear. I really expected him to be out of the game after that hit, Schaub is a tough SOB.

Be interested to see how much of a fine that guy gets for that hit.

Having said that, I'm expecting a whole sh!tload of fines/suspensions to come down this week. They ain't happy at all with everyone taking advantage of the replacement refs.

There were several people in the off season who had the adacity to suggest that Yates should be the starter over Schaub.

No doubt about it. It looks like he was trying to use his helmet to hit Schaub underneath the chin.

There are a lot of folks on the Denver Post comments section, that agree it was a intentional dirty play.

There were like threads & comments in the lull between the draft and OTAs/training camp...

I kinda chalked it up to football deprivation.... You know sometimes folk don't rightly think straight during those lean times...

The amount is one game's salary, which is about 208k for him. I believe that amount will be given to the charity fund by the team in lieu of a direct fine.
