Casting Call for Texans Fans

This guy went through the proper channels so I will relay his message here.

My name is Josh Temple and I work for Dan Bell Casting out of Los Angeles. We will be in Houston next week casting a commercial for Comcast/Xfinity. We are looking to cast Texans fans who live in the Houston area. I've included a link to the flyer with all of the details. It pays well and will be a lot of fun.

I got an email from them saying the auditions are for various times at various places this Friday. Looks like they're only wanting groups so I dunno if it's worth showing up to one by myself.

My only question is condom or no condom, because like Ocho Cinco, or now (and again) Chad Johnson, I will cast for some porno in my future!!

I was at SRO for lunch and they said they'd be there this Friday from 2-4 PM.

Hello! Thanks for responding! We want you to interview with us for the Comcast/Xfinity commercial on Friday August 17th

We're casting in groups as it's more fun so we want you to bring friends or family who watch or go to the games with you.The more the merrier! We're casting all ages, groups and families and we are looking for fans with Comcast or Xfinity as this is for Comcast.

If you are chosen the filming date is August 30th. It pays $500 per person if chosen and $1500 upon commercial airing.

I do. Then again I only watch TV in the living room so that feature doesn't make a difference to me anyway.

I find it hard to believe they're asking for groups of fans to prove that they're Comcast customers regardless.

Well I'm auditioning on Sunday. With my Texans logo tattoo I'm sure to be offered the role. Then I will hit Hollywood and date Scarlett Johannsen. Glad you posted this Hookem, Scarlett thanks you.

Won't be me. I just got rid of Comcast - they keep upping the price. Got Direct-TV with free NFL Sunday Ticket for this year.

I participated in the callback Skype call. Will be told if we're picked or not in a few days.

Sounds like fun. I just like repping my team.

They came to the Blue Crew looking for me, thanks to Shadow, but, I hooked um to the stadium (on purpose) before they got there. Had enough of that stuff. Just hoping my two grandkids make it. They were excited about the tryout, and had a good time doing it.

They came through the yellow lot with cameras rolling at the Vikings game and filmed several tailgate teams, including ours, had us sign waivers and all that jazz. Doubt our crazy asses will ever make the cut, but still.

I didn't get it so I switched to UVerse. Well, that and the fact my Internet with Comcast wasn't working so screw Comcast.

I dropped the guy an email. Come on...who doesn't love a guy in a predator mask? :-)
