Our first game of the season is around the corner and we have some real fun things going on this year. I can't wait to take the "tailgate light" sign down and do some serious tailgating with the best tailgate family!

The Dolphins have NEVER beaten us and I don't see that changing. I know some are doing fish themes to try to come up with the best way to cook up Flipper.

So my question to you.....Whatcha bringin!!????
 
Gotta do some thinkin about what to bring! Gonna be a HOT one, so, gonna plan accordingly. Would love to fry up some fish though!! Yummmm!
 
Miami is the little fish in a big pond....... so we are doing a shrimp boil, red potatoes, corn, sausage, whole mushrooms, and onions. For breakfast Marta is making 2 dozen breakfast tacos, homemade pico, and hot sauce. Appetizers will be fresh jalapenos stuffed with cream cheese, shrimp, and then wrapped in bacon. It is going to be a great Sunday! The only thing sad is I am going to have to watch La Tech sodomize my UH Cougars Saturday night, (I am really scared to see that game after the Texas State disaster)!
 
I have a fish taco recipe that I think will be fun to try at the tailgate. See y'all there bright and early on Sunday!!

Dave and Ted have been working hard on a new toy for the tailgate to enjoy.

Ok flipper yielded 15 pounds and I caught about three quiet dogs, should feed about a hunsky anywho we are hours away from good times
 
I think that I have finished packing for my Houston weekend. Glad that the weather is predicted to be nice.

i will be bringing some mimosas and whatever I can grab that morning from Fiesta. I can't wait to load up on more Saint Arnold beer.

Someone will be home all day, you left the connectors for the tent in our garage. Dave is going to work on the little generator today, to try and get it running.

Does David know to bring the "fancy" antenna?

Ha ha. Thanks for your thought. I will get there in time. Right now too busy with business and a little bit of pleasure (young model lady friend) to go overseas. So, I am good.

I don't dare load up the truck until tomorrow morning. Since Kara and I had our cars broken into this past month, and my next door neighbor had a home invasion, I don't DARE leave anything out where these jackas*es that live around here can steal it! Aaron bolted my TEXAN yard sign to the brick and chained it down. I'm hesitant to fly my Texan flag cause I feel sure someone will steal it. Sad, but, that's the way life is these days.

I'm in a baking mood this morning, so gonna put my apron on and get to work! Aaron says he's gonna fry fish tomorrow, and I'm bringing monkey bread and kolache's for early in the morning.

EARL will be there also!! Haven't had a tailgate without Earls, and don't intend to start now!!

I have a bunch of tilapia marinating with cilantro and other goodies. Fish tacos for manana.

My biggest challenge is going to be getting the boys moving in the morning.
 
You guys just get better year after year. It was so good seeing everybody today at the "flippin" tailgate and a win over Flipper is always nice!
