Damn. I thought the game started at 7PM. I missed that whole first drive. I saw Forsett make the TD though. That was cool.
 
Yes, he has to catch that, but that was a horribly thrown ball. If that cb was worth anything it would have been inted. Beck looked bad that drive
 
Yeah, looks better this series. You can notice a huge difference between Schaubs and Yates playfakes and Becks. He's looking sharp so far though. Of course running for 5+ yards a pop isnt hurting.

I liked that throw actually. He put it in a great spot. Lead Jean on that and it's a good chance it's picked, or the fans in the front row get battle red blood on their clothes from Jean being decapitated.

I don't know if beck did that on purpose, but that's how you are supposed to throw that pass.
 
I feel so bad for these replacement officials. They're doing the best they can but it's overwhelming. People who criticize them should try to officiate high school football, much less college and the pros.

Still ....this is going to be one big cluster****** of a season if they don't get the regulars back.

I've been half way defending the refs, but if you can't swim in the deep end don't jump in. And if someone throws you in, shame on them.
