Deadspin on Texans (Hater Warning)

eh... cant really find any faults in the article. I mean.. he said something positive about Jacoby Jones.. which is laughable, but other than that he pretty much listed a bunch of viable fears that any knowledgeable person should have about the Texans this season.

Of course..he also listed none of the reasons that we WONT suck. Like having the scariest defense in football and the best running back. Those two things alone have taken teams to the superbowl.
 
I enjoyed the roasting. He's wrong about a couple of things, but it was fun.

This could easily all fall apart, with Beck as the starting QB in Week 12 throwing to No. 1 wideout Kevin Walter.

The Texans can probably still win this division playing T.J. Yates at QB and a pair Roombas blocking on the right side of the line.

It's just meaningless hatorade from a fan of some other team, probably an NFC team that we beat the last time we played them (or maybe the Cowgirls).
 
First off he is right on one account, behind AJ we don't have a #1 "that we know of". The FO should of brought in someone, there were better optons than bryant johnson.

Secondly this moron is obviously a cowboys fan and rambles on about stuff he obviously did no research on. And I love it how luck will rule the division for the next 15 years, the boy hasn't even taken a NFL snap yet haha.

Better yet I think this is a colts fan who is mad because their rein of power in the south is over, 10 plus years and only 1 superbowl win. That my friends is failure.

It is safe to say that the Cowboys have a larger fanbase and are a much more recognizable team in this country.
 
I have a few questions
1. Is Deadspin a joke sight or is it supposed to be credible.
2. Is this some kind of series he is doing for all of the teams.

Why do the Texans suck in 2012? That's just it, they don't, FOR ONCE IN THIS TEAM'S MISERABLE MEAGRE EXISTENCE. Drew Magery is a writer for kissingsuzykolber.com and deadspin. Dude is hilarious. Read some of his takedowns of Peter King on KSK sometime. Well worth a read imo. Also check out any of the Rex Ryan posts over there.

I'm pretty sure he's a Vikings fan too. Definately not a Cowboys fan. He spews more hate toward the Cowboys, Patriots, Colts, and Steelers than anyone.

I understand the point of the article, every team has issues, otherwise there would be 15-16 tie games per week. Either way he proved to be a douche when he mentions Jacoby in a positive light.............

I don't know how many are aware of this fact, but these are written for just about every team. I've seen these in season's past. Unless I'm mistaken, they're just satires and should be taken lightly.

Nah, he's a Viking fan. He writes for the Cowboys site because they paid him. If you paid me enough, I would write about the Cowboys but Cowboy fans would likely not like it. Some of Drew's writing about the Cowboys is very funny.

Yeah, they are doing this for all the teams. This is actually a fairly nice (though not terribly accurate) one.

I read the entire article as though it was satire and thought it to be funny. It's most of the same stuff discussed here with added cursing and humor. The image of Cushing snapping Peyton's "Birdy little neck" made me chuckle.

EDIT: I also imagined it as an effort post on gotitans and it read exactly as I thought it would.

The Jaguars one is awesome, especially with the video posted at the end with Blaine Gabbert and Brian Cushing.
