Finally, the wait is almost over. We get to see them knock heads and watch the rooks try and make the team. This has been a LONG offseason.

Thorn-I really, really hate to bring this up but August 11th is a Saturday not Friday. But it's only one more day...

In any case, you're right, the message is the same. In a week and a half, our guys on on the field in their uniforms playing football on TV. The long drought is finally over.

I actually had the vision of Thorn at the Stadium on Friday in the stands all by himself (with the beer that they didn't confiscate at the gate) waiting for the game to start...

I hate this time of year. It causes me to watch the first preseason
game no less than 10 times in the first week.

Am I the only one?

LOL! I get this mental pic of him dropping his tailgate and sitting in the empty parking lot and after a couple of swigs of beer he says "aaaw kiss my ass" and leaves.

This offseason HAS seemed longer than most. Thanks Astros.
