Doom Capers
Waterboy
If it were up to you, who would you keep (starters), release, and draft?
QB - Carr
RB - Davis
WR - Johnson, Mathis, Gaffney, and Armstrong. Bradford can go.
TE - Bruener can stay, we need to try for a good blocking TE that has good hands in the draft. I am not sure of the status of Joppru, but I wouldn't count on his play.
RT - Sign a free agent and cut Wade
RG - Weigert, unless a decent free agent is availble.
C - This one is up in the air, maybe Hodgon will get better
LG - Pitts
LT - Draft D'brickshaw and go from there.
FB - Norris, I like this guy, he can block well.
DT - Payne is solid, not special, but not bad.
DE - Robaire Smith is a hog, and has great work ethic. Walker had a great game last week, but will it last? If he can return to the old Gfunk, I would keep rotating him and TJ.
OLB - Peek stays, for sure. His energy is what this team needs. Babin and Orr can both be moved to 2nd string. I would look for a solid OLD in free agency.
MLB - Wong and Greenwood would both get another chance. Both are solid, but if they slip I would be looking for a different starter the following season.
CB - Robinson stays at left. He is developing into a great corner and would stay with this franchise for many years. Buchannon would stick to covering the other teams #2 wr. The guy has talent, but needs to find himself. I would cut Faggins. The guy cannot keep getting beat like he does. I would cut him and try and find a solid nickel corner in the draft.
S - I would give Coleman one more season and see how he ages. He seems almost like he is slipping this year. I would also keep CC Brown, I like his work ethic and seems to be a good tackler.
Brown and Stanley both stay.
