Don't look for much

in the game against Dallas. I think we will play our cards close to the vest and so will Dallas. Capers has a lot of players he has to make decisions on and he needs playing time for them to make his decisions. I think there are a lot of players sitting on the cusp. The WR corp is a big one and it looks like the top 4 are set(AJ,CB,JG, and Armstrong). We won't risk Carr much in this game. Wand may play more, but that's simply for game time experience. Defense is where we will spend a lot of time and where we should watch what is happening with the rookies and the other adjustments that have been made. I would think Glenn would not play too much to avoid injury. Coleman I would think would play a little more for playing time purposes. Special teams will also be important in this game as that's where a number of people hope to make the squad. Who returns the balls on kickoffs and punts is up for grabs. It will be interesting to see if anyone can unseat JJ. If they can, we will probably have a pretty good return game.

the game is a pick-em. the over/under is 33pts. As much
as I want to beat the cowboys, Capers is going to see
who can play this year for us. So even, at these odds. I can't ( oh, the pain )
bet the game. Because the Tuna will go after the win, with
his problems he got to show a win to prove they can do it. :thumbdown

lol. I feel the same way. I cant bet against my team for the life of me. so what are you taking unders or overs ?

About 1/2 of the first quarter. Look for the rookies to get at least 2-3 quarters in.
My guess is that Banks will come in around the end of the 1st.

I think 1/2 the first quarter sounds about right. I believe they were in 3 or 4 series, or something around that. I'd like to see how Babin does against the Cowboys line, and also see how Robinson does on Bryant. One step closer to the regular season.

I think Dunta is on Terry Glenn...but I may be wrong.

I read in the Chronicle that Dunta will switch to the slot on Nickle and Dime packages, and Faggins will move to the outside. The offense will be vanilla on both sides, but I believe Bryant might be put in motion to the slot a time or two. I'm sure Keyshawn will be utilized in the slot alot this season, but I can't really get psyched up to see Robinson battle him. I think Bryant will be a better test for him than Keyshawn or Terry Glenn.
