Browns vs Texans Predictions

Exascor

Will the Texans get revenge for last season's collapse?
Will the Browns show the Texans up at Reliant?
Will the day before Halloween be scary for the Texans or the Browns?

Post your final score predictions here.

NO.
Yes.
Texans.

Browns win 30-3. Chad Stanley has an awesome game and is named team MVP before the season ends.

Texans 23
Browns 20

Texans come out with a shot gun formation and the Texan's offense finally gets started.

Unfortunately I am all out of fingers and toes to cross.

The Texans look a lot like the Browns, but we've lost to Indy, Seattle, and Pitt. The Browns have lost to Green Bay, Detroit, and Baltimore. And we have home field.

Texans 27-24.

:texflag:

Texans 24 browns 17.

I like the point that we've played buffalo pittsburg cinncinati etc. The browns have played the lions the packers etc... I think we show up and blow up and actually have a pretty good game with not too many big plays but alot of much needed plays leading us to our first win.

I don't believe that the caliber of opposition for either team has one thing to do with it. Personally, I believe the team will come out pumped up and ready to get the first win of the season. However, the 2nd half collapses will be the norm for us all season even if we play competitively for a half. We just cannot seem to respond to adjustments nor make any of our own.

1st half : Texans-13
Browns-10

Final score : Texans-16
Browns-24

A wise man said that my last prediction had too large of a point spread so I'll correct it for this game.

Browns 4
Texans 3

Carr doubles his net yards passing from last week for an amazing 12 yards. Both teams combine for 217 yards of offense. Carr gets sacked for 2 safeties. One as time is running out in the game...

Browns 20
Texans 17

I do predict we actually do have a lead at one point during the game though. GO TEXANS!!!!:brickwall

I just hope it doesn't become one of those ugly bottom-feeder games (I remember the dud-bowl a couple years back between the Redskins and Cowboys on MNF) where it becomes a question of who is going to stumble into winning the game.

I think our offense will feed off its success last week, however I don't think that our offense is fast enough to contain Ruben Droughns. Also I think they have Braylon Edwards at wide receiver. If so we need to keep him double teamed.

I don't see us stopping them, but our offense will have it's best game of the season.

Final: Browns 31, Texans 28

Braylon Edwards isn't their weapon, Antonio Bryant is.

i am sorry but the browns are no gurrantee win like some of you think. the browns are better than they were last year and the texans are worse. The browns have also won a few this year, the texans have not. the browns are also coached better. therefore the outcome of this game will be
Browns- 24
Texans-21

Browns 7
Texans 6

We get 2 field goals by the team MVP.
David Carr gets sacked and fumbles, the Browns run it back for a TD.
David Carrs sack rate drops to only 4 this game.
Several Vacumn companies inquire about Stadium naming rights....

Will continue to go w/ my team. Payback sure would be a ***** against the Browns - it's their damn fault we're in this funk, lol. Anyway, maybe a win here turns things around and the team can end on a respectable note.

Cleveland 17
Houston 21

I am going by the averages, defense gives up 30 a game, Texans score 10 a game. Texans have only scored 30 once in their history and in the 20's a hand full of times,

Browns-29
Texans-6

Browns play an aggressive 3-4 to our 3-4/Cover2. Edge Browns.
Browns call aggressive offensive plays. Edge Browns.
Browns line sucks, but so does ours. Push
Texans have more talent. Edge Texans.
Texans need a win. Edge Browns

Well that makes it 3-1 so I will make the prediction which will suprise most but I go with.

TEXANS 20 our favorite score
Brownies 14

Wrong, the Browns O-line does not suck. They had bad games against some very aggresive pass rushing teams (colts, lions) but had good days against other teams.

Last year, that o-line sucked, this year not so much.

The browns 207-2

Brownies - 24
Houston Expansion Franchise - 10

Lots of boos. Chants of "Let's Go Rockets". Stadium is empty in the 4th quarter excluding the fans that stay behind to boo. 143 yards passing, 7 sacks, the Carr man-crush clan praise his "toughness" and blame his horrible play on the offensive line as usual. Jerome Mathis scores a kickoff TD. Defense gives up 368 yards, records 1 sack and looks completely confused as usual. Capers uses a nice mix of consistent, efficient and execution to describe his team's shortcomings.... and is fired on Monday morning... finally.

If our boys come to play with some heart...
Us 17
Them 14

If it is like the first 6 games this season...
Us 10
Them 27
