NFL to Minneapolis: "Vikings running out of options"

Brings back bad memories as a fan,

But this one's due to the state's politicians and not a f#<%ed up lying, thieving owner. Appears Wilf has been open to any option.

Vikings belong in Minnesota...period.

If Cleveland is allowed to move no team is safe. If Minnesota wants to keep their team then they will have to build a new stadium. It's that simple.

L.A. could be slated to take another Minnesota team?
Funny how both teams end up being purple and gold.

Yeah, but this isn't fans vs owner. It's the legislature refusing to do anything.

Besides that, if the fans really wanted them to stay, they'd be pressuring their legislators to get it done. Haven't heard much outrage in Minnesota.

It would be absolutely terrible if the Vikes left Minny but if the Browns can leave cleveland.................

The Alamodome? Please, San Antonio. Just be thankful you have the Spurs, a good facility for conventions and Texas' economy.

I'd like the Vikings to remain in Minnesota but if they had to go somewhere I'd beg for anywhere but L.A. What has San Antonio done for a team? What has L.A. done except be a terrible pro football town? THIS time it will be different, right?

Kentucky maybe? Arkansas?

Oklahoma city would probably be a nice choice. They're all hyped up for having the Thunder, bet they would shell out a few to get a pro football team. Call them the OKC Rain! Ok, maybe not...

How about Portland Rain? :kitten:

I hope they NEVER get a team in SA! What has SA done to deserve an NFL team?

Supported the Spurs religiously for years?
Sold out all the katrina moved games when the Saints played there?

SA is very deserving of a team and could actually support an NFL franchise, unlike baseball

SA is Cowboy country and will always be! Hell, Houston can't convert Cowboy fans with all the money and hoopla Daddy Bob has put into the franchise. SA wouldn't stand a chance. Besides, JJ would never support it, and he pretty much gets what he wants. TWO NFL teams is enough in Texas, unless one goes out West, like to El Paso.

The Saints were incredibly close to moving to SA a few years ago. Hurricane Katrina and the Saints helping rebuild the city by giving people a good team to root for changed that.

I wouldn't be surprised if San Antonio got a team at some point.

If San Antonio got a NFC team it would be pretty hilarious. This because all of the San Antonio and Austin viewing areas would be forced to televise the San Antonio team over Dallas due to the current NFL rules. Imagine all those Cowboys fans not getting their sorry team on Sundays.

Now if an AFC team moves there, the Texans would be the victim.

El Paso, you say?

They need a team name. How about...the El Paso Cartel.

The only way this would be viable is if the NFL could get people in Juarez interested.

They practically have to give away tickets to Miners football games, and it seems like people here are more interested in tailgating than going to the game itself. Though they really have sucked lately. I was really hoping they would fire Price this last year and would've loved to see them make a run at Leach....long shot I know.

Funny though, there are some real passionate football fans out here and because of Fort Bliss I see fans from all over the country out here.
