Andre Johnson and Arian Foster up for Madden Cover

Considering how fragile AJ has been the past couple of years, I'd be worried to risk him. And i don't want to risk Foster. Can't we elect Jacoby instead?

I think Drew Brees escaped the curse:

There have been two main contributors to the Madden Curse: An unexplained decrease in statistical production, or an injury.

Brees threw for the second-highest total yardage in his career (4,620), and was one touchdown shy of tying his career high (33). But he did throw a career-high 22 interceptions.

Since dislocating his shoulder in his last game as a San Diego Charger in 2005, Brees has missed only one start, that being a Week 17 game in 2009 to rest for the playoffs. He started all 16 games this season.

I'm still not liking the odds.

Since he plays in New Orleans I'm sure there was a lot of Voodoo :voodoo: going on to keep him safe.
 
Read somewhere that is was going to be the Pats TE Gronkowski. I have no idea where I read that so can't provide a link.

Out of these two vote for Andre.

He's less likely to win the cover IMO, I actually think Foster may have surpassed him as far as national popularity goes or will soon.

Any ways...Tim Tebow will win this...

so do the game developers ask the players if he wants to be on the cover first or do the players have no choice on who goes on the cover ???
 
There's only one choice this year. They might as well announce Tebow now.

He's only going to have enough stock to be a Madden cover athlete after last season, and plus he's guaranteed to prove the Madden curse correct, when he doesn't start a single football game during the season after he took his team to the playoffs.

AJ and AF are safe.

I voted for some pretty stupid stuff there. Kinda the anti cover.

I feel safe with this being a national vote and Tebow up against Foster.

i wouldnt mind seeing andre johnson gets ome well deserved recognition.. andre has been injured the last couple of seasons, if he gets injured again it wont be because of some curse..

I got Madden '10 and told the kid... we're not buying another for a few years. Madden never really changes too much. Well... if Foster or Johnson made the cover, I'd definitely buy it. To have them as the 'premeire' player in the system? They're always the top rated in the game so heck yeah!

Curses are ridiculous. It gives me the heebie jeebies too but honestly... its ridiculous.

Arian would be a great cover player, and would give the Texans more pub. The Madden curse is crap.
