Bears WR Brandon Marshall was involved in another incident that could lead to an NFL review. More shortly at ESPN.com.

Statement from Brandon Marshalls Attorney Harvey Steinberg regarding Club incident:

"On March 12,2012 Brandon Marshall was the key note speaker at a charitable event in New York. After the event was over he, his wife and close friends attended a function at a local club.
While at the function a fight broke out NOT involving Mr. Marshall or his friends. While attempting to leave to avoid the melee Mrs. Marshall was struck in the face by a thrown bottle. She suffered serious injury.
While attempting to leave and take his wife to the hospital, the mayhem continued outside. Finally Mr. Marshall was able to take his wife to the hospital where she was treated for serious injuries.
Mr. Marshall is hoping to assist authorities in regards to this matter.

You think the Bears are regretting their decision yet? Even if he wasn't involved in the fight, why is he in a club where this type of stuff goes on? Troubled players aren't always the problem but the people and places they hang out with and at are the problem.

Thoughts:

Brandon Marshall doesn't tend to get into a lot of trouble...Not like Pac Man atleast. When he won the pro bowl MVP and they interviewed him, he seemed like a really genuine guy. (just my impression)

He was out with his wife and before they went to the club for a "function" they were at a fund raising event.

He very well could have been out at the club acting an ass, but from what it sounds like I don't think that was the case. JMO.

His attorney's statement is great. When I read the story earlier this morning it mentioned Marshall punching a female and his wife getting hit by a bottle. My first attorney thought was..."oh, you basically spin the bottle hitting his wife into a reason for any fight breaking out." Easy peasy. Though the original story made it sound like the bottle was post punch.

probably a reason that a young, physically gifted, dominant, clear 'WR1' NFL talent is with his third team in 4 years....just thinking out loud.

darn it my hilarious gif got overtrafficked

You clearly have no knowledge on his history than. His incidents involving domestic violence are a mile long. He has repeatedly had these issues, and he also acted like a 12 year old by trying to ruin practices, being a cancer in the locker room on the Broncos for like two seasons to force his way out. For a WR as talented as he is, it's ridiculous that he's made it to his 3rd team already, and of course has another off the field situation looming right now. They didn't nickname him "Baby TO" when he was drafted just because of his physical abilities. He's been a nut job since he entered the league.
