According to the coaching staff Mathis doesn't know the offense as yet. Ah, how long have we been playing football? To me Mathis was AJ's savior, but that certainly has not materialized nor has it had an opportunity to materialize. Some of it seems to be because of injury, but it certainly looks like there is some other factor involved. As always if you do not cross your t's and dot the i's in the view of this coaching staff, you do not belong on the field. Armstrong and Mathis can both catch the ball well - they have good hands - so you have to play someone like Bradford who has no hands to give the other team a chance. This coaching staff is so bad I don't know how you can judge players or Casserly. No, I don't know Casserly, I just think this coaching staff is that bad.
They also got rid of Swinton, Starling, Kasper and the receiver from Texas. We keep Hollings as a result. I liked Kasper, because he played at NE, had excellent hands and had made some spectacular catches particularly in the red zone. I have yet to figure out the logic of this staff, particularly in light of the fact we were trying to find a #2 receiver to take the pressure off of a AJ. Now what is even worse is we have no go to receiver since AJ is injured. Once again, no matter where you look, you will see a total lack of development and improvement in any player. I must admit DROB must be an absolute miracle.
