Dolphins Don't Score In Scrimmage?

I heard on ESPN that the Dolphins didn't score in the scrimmage. Is that true? I think it's more telling of the sad state of the Dolphins offense as opposed to the dominance of the Texans defense. Perhaps its a little of both.

Neither offense looked very good IMO.

Nice catch by Andrae Thurman

Nice recovery by Marcus Bell stripping the ball after getting beat over the middle

Jason Bell got screwed on the interference call

Carr had happy feet - he worries me sometimes.

Ragone was lost out there - but of course a guy named Curry Dawson was playing LT when he was in there.

Dunta likes to grab at jerseys when he gets beat. He was going against guys like Snoop Minnis and Carl Morris today so it wasn't much of a test. He is super quick.

Jonathan Wells is running like it's the final year of his contract ......

Bradford had a nice TD catch and run up the tunnel during the 7 on 7's.

Petey was getting a lot of work at the right corner. That guy looks like a new player.

Jammal Lord showed good range.

Shantee Orr was beaten badly by Sammy Morris on a 7 on 7 TD catch.

Phins backup safety Chris Akins had to be carted off with what looked like a significant knee injury

Yeah I knew they didn't keep score, but I heard on ESPN and then again on ABC's coverage that the Dolphins didn't score a TD. I assume they meant during 11 on 11 drills. I believe it was Dunta who mentioned it in an interview after the scrimmage. I know it doesn't mean much, but still it's at least a positive bit of information.

I was sorry to hear that the Dolphins suffered another injury during the scrimmage. I believe it was Chris Akins a safety. At least it wasn't a starter this time.

I believe Jamaal Lord looked like total ****. This may be the worst draft pick by the Texans. Yeah, I know, it was a 6th rounder, but he is totally lost at FS.

So you are telling me that the worst draft pick by the Texans was a 6th round pick who played the option QB at Nebraksa and is on the defensive side for the first time in his life (dont know if he played any in high school)??? I'd take that, but are you forgetting about Charles Hill???

Lord is a project, he will be on the practice squad this year and will learn the position for a year so dont get on him after his first live action at FS....

I agree with Fiddy here. It's not as if hes switching from CB in college to FS. He's switching to a totally different side of the ball. Gotta give him some time to learn the system before you call him the worst draft pick ever.

I can't understand why Lord isn't playing at an All-Pro level by now. After all, he has had a full spring in mini-camps and now a full week of training camp. He is a bust and should be cut.

The Dolphins looked much better on offense that the Texans to me. Also, Babin was a no-show. It's early but geez.

Bennie J could be the worst Texan pick ever. Wait tony Boselli was the worst pick, nevermind. .

Boselli was more of a "let us take the players we want, in return we will take him off your hands" everyone knew boselli wasnt going to play. bennie is the worst in my opinion, i think he might just be too scared to play, i do have to question the whole injuryed myself (alone) while running after he supposedly looked good after the mini camps. who was it on this site that said he was going to eventually be the starter, i wont name any names but i think they should study some more football.

lord will be a very good player, give him so time, dont just cut the guy because he is trying to learn a new position are you going to say nexted that babin and coleman should be cut because they didnt pick up their new position quick enough. babin is still learning this new position and he and lord started at the same time. give lord a chance!

These guys are being much too hard on the new guys learning a new position. How would you feel if went to a new place to work trying out an upgrade in posistion and get fired just because you didn't perform at the level of a 10-year experienced person in one week?? Not only that...but having millions of people watching your every move knowing that a lot was put at stake to pick you up...
