First off let me start by saying Congrats to the Texans for making the playoffs and winning your first playoff game.
Thanks to your mods for approving this account and letting us post here, unlike some other "teams" boards. Even the "other" Texans board refused most of us accounts.
I read alot of posts on our Ravens board, on this board, on the other Texans board and there seems to be many posts about "us" discounting your team and looking past them. Well I think every team has "those" types of fans and you can't judge a nation on the actions of the few.
Most of us Ravens fans are confident that "this is our year" and we will win on Sunday, but are not looking past the Texans. We know how your team is built, why? Because it's built very similar to our own. These Texans play "ACF North" type football.
There are many stats that can be thrown around to support an argument about who will win and why, we can disect them, twist and turn them in support of our own argument but in the end this game is going to be decided on the Field this Sunday by 2 teams that are so close to a mirror image of each other it isn't funny.
The words "Any given Sunday" are not just a cliche, but this Sunday your Texans better not be prepared for a fight, they better be prepared for an all out war. This Ravens team is fierce, hungry and looking for a fight.
So relish your first ever playoff win. I know I did as a Ravens fan and it just happened to come in the same year as our first Superbowl win. So that just shows anything is possible.
I expect this game to be a war and while I do give props to your team, I expect my Ravens to be victorious on Sunday. I just hope we aren't too beat up to play a competitive game the following week. (Same goes for your team if you somehow manage to win)
