First off let me start by saying Congrats to the Texans for making the playoffs and winning your first playoff game.

Thanks to your mods for approving this account and letting us post here, unlike some other "teams" boards. Even the "other" Texans board refused most of us accounts.

I read alot of posts on our Ravens board, on this board, on the other Texans board and there seems to be many posts about "us" discounting your team and looking past them. Well I think every team has "those" types of fans and you can't judge a nation on the actions of the few.

Most of us Ravens fans are confident that "this is our year" and we will win on Sunday, but are not looking past the Texans. We know how your team is built, why? Because it's built very similar to our own. These Texans play "ACF North" type football.

There are many stats that can be thrown around to support an argument about who will win and why, we can disect them, twist and turn them in support of our own argument but in the end this game is going to be decided on the Field this Sunday by 2 teams that are so close to a mirror image of each other it isn't funny.

The words "Any given Sunday" are not just a cliche, but this Sunday your Texans better not be prepared for a fight, they better be prepared for an all out war. This Ravens team is fierce, hungry and looking for a fight.

So relish your first ever playoff win. I know I did as a Ravens fan and it just happened to come in the same year as our first Superbowl win. So that just shows anything is possible.

I expect this game to be a war and while I do give props to your team, I expect my Ravens to be victorious on Sunday. I just hope we aren't too beat up to play a competitive game the following week. (Same goes for your team if you somehow manage to win)

Welcome to the boards, but I just can't wish your team any kind of good luck this Sunday.:texflag::logo:

HAHA I would expect nothing less. I won't wish you any type of luck, but I do hope your team comes out of the game injury free, as I do mine.

To win the WAR you have to fight the battles, and our Texans will be focused on winning another battle!! The war will be fought in Feb in Indy!

This will be the biggest and toughest battle for our team! They know that, WE know that, the Ravens know that! The odds are definitely in your favor, but, don't ever discount the HEART of the Bull!! Yep, gonna be a tough one, and whoever comes out the winner of this battle I hope goes on to win the SB! ( That is if the NINERS are not in it!) ;)

I guess we'll agree on 2 things.

If we don't win the SB then I hope the Texans do, unless the 49ers are there. I've never been a 49ers fan, but I have to root for Brother Jim!

Welcome to the board...

This will be an old school smash mouth football game.

Any word on the street about Boldin's recover from surgery? I know Andre needed some time to knock the rust off...even though he had a TD reception, he did have a few non-Andre like drops in the game against the Bengals.

Welcome aboard! Let's just hope for a good, injury free game! And of course a Texan win ;)

Welcome. I have a couple of questions.

Does Suggs move around alot, or just rush from one side of the line?

How are your corners playing lately? I know you have that rookie from Colorado, Smith, and a couple of young starters, Webb/Williams.

Is Lee Evans ever going to play a game for yall?

How do you feel Joe Flacco will perform this Sunday?

I do have one bit of advice if you are going to the game. Wear goggles and watch out for the sparks when Leach and Ryans meet in the A gap.

Boldin is 100%, his surgery was a minor one and he's stated he feels better than he has all year. He had a good game against your team last meeting with 132 yds.

Suggs moves around alot, he rushes equally well on both the right and left side. If JJ is in the game then Suggs will be on the opposite side. T-Sizzle is likely going to be in beast mode for this game with constant pressure, I'm looking for JJ to have a stellar game, he's one of the most under-rated SAM backers in the business. Or D's capability of setting the edge is what contained Foster and Tate in the Week 6 game.

Being perfectly honest I think our Corners are the weak spot on this team. Jimmy Smith is a rookie who only really comes in during the nickel package (started when Webb was injured). Webb is quickly becoming one of the best cover corners in the business, even if he is on the "small" side. The weak spot is C.Williams (CB) who can be beat. This is where we rely on Ed Reed! 90% of the earth is covered by water the other 10% is covered by Ed Reed! LOL

Lee Evans didn't really have time to "gel" with Flacco, he was hurt immediately following the trade. He's had a bad case of the dropsies in the late season, but hopefully the bye week will help improve that.

Flacco is the key here. There is no doubting the strength of his arm. Flacco gets alot of "flack" that really isn't deserved. Our problem is the OC imo, our offense is so vanilla that if a team watches film, it's not hard to take away our WR's. The WR's have struggled to get seperation more often than not or they simply drop the ball.

We love Leach! I don't think we'd be in this position without him, the man is a beast! He's like a wrecking ball with legs (not that I need to tell Texans fans this). If your LB's can't stuff Leach or get out of his way, you will have NO chance of stopping our run game.

Since the departure of Leach, our running game is not the same. By that I mean the backs do more outside running and screens than they did when we had Leach. It's proven just as effective, and in Foster's case as a pass reciever, even more effective at times. And yeah, there's nothing you can say about Leach we didn't say about him when he was here. The man is a Beast.

I miss the coke machine! Leach is one of the reasons I grabbed Ray Rice in fantasy football this year.

Foster tweeted earlier in the week to Leach, something to the effect of "hey, I will be in Baltimore this weekend for a business trip, want to grab some grub"...lol, I thought that was great.
