Trade in the Carr

How long is it going to take before Dom Capers realizes that David Carr isn't the greatest thing since sliced bread? On any other team he'd be a 3rd string quarterback. They need to trade him off and send the entire offensive line packing with him. Time to start over from scratch.

I wish I could just ban you for lying...because that's just a pure fabrication. I'm not even much of a Carr supporter Einstein....and I do most of the banning around here.

Look....if you have been banned it's not because you have been critical of Carr. I'm critical of Carr. If you want to play games I'll be happy to ban you now. Either discuss football or get banned. How's that for a deal?

Let's see...why is Carr a lousy quarterback....UH....can't handle pressure, can't throw, can't scramble (I don't think he could scramble eggs), leads the NFL in sacks against...oh that's right, not his fault...OK, so get rid of the offensive line...or did I already mention that??...oh yeah...and he can't scramble, so it wouldn't matter if you did get rid of the offensive line and get some sort of protection. They'd have better protection if they put 5 condoms on the front line.

No sir...this is my first time posting tonight...I'm not really a NFL fan, but I guess it's just absolute frustration on behalf of my wife who week in and week out gets her hopes crushed by their lousy play. I'm a true Texans fan when they play Dallas and definately Denver. Hate the mile high with a passion

I was one of the ones that wanted to lay the majority of the blame on Carr. He has quite frankly improved quite a bit since game 1. Sounds crazy I know, but I honestly believe it.

We need to use the probable #1 pick in a package to upgrade both lines, not on a new quaterback. Kid has been scrambling since day one. Hindsight will show that we should have never played him that first season.
 
I wish Vinny would delete this thread as the title is pure idiocy given Carr's performance that I witnessed tonight. The only reason I would ever want to see Carr traded is to see him play for a team that can protect him so I can watch him become a great QB. Show some respect to Carr he has earned it by just suiting up to play with the Texans joke of an O-line.
 
I wasn't all that impressed with Carr's play tonight. He is nails on the hitch, slant or a curl (any short pass)...but he was not real accurate when he threw down the field. Gaffney caught 10 balls but that just further confirms that if you aren't Carr's first read or last read you won't get the ball.

How often does he have time to make more than 1 read? Granted he had some time tonight but still, after 3+ seasons of being hit almost immediately, its going to take some time to get his pocket presence back. He did look better tonight than he did last week and the week before.

Vinny, he looked really good tonight. He put the moves on several sack attempts, unloaded the ball well and played the short and long game well. He looked like a confident pro in the pocket tonight. I disagree big time with you.
