JJ WATT!! Boy played his heart out, and it paid off!! That JJ play was by far one of the BEST I've ever seen. Wade commented on the news last night that JJ does this in practice all the time. Wade was wondering what took him so long!
I think we were all excited watching AJ make a big play, but, overall, he looked a little rusty. JMO!! He's gettin his groove back though, and he'll be AWESOME against the birds!!
JJ Watt is my Big Players make Big Plays in Big Games guy for this game. The way he caught the bullet as it left the barrel of the gun was remarkable and momentum changing, IMO. What is YOUR moment that stood out for you?
Very clutch. Yates should have never thrown the ball there (Foster was open on the swing), but Daniels bailed him out. And that's basically what the Texans have been saying to Yates. "We've got your back."...I'd say one of the big plays that maybe is under the radar is Owen Daniels' catch between two defenders for a first down (which was challenged and confirmed). That was clutch!

I think that interception by JJ was incredible and definately a momentum changer. It was like a reward for all the crap he took in the Colts game.

The big plays were great.
But to me it was the play after play intensity of Antonio Smith that set the tone.
u dont mean the one where it was 4th down and we woulda been on their 40 instead of our 30 had he just knocked it down ?
I haven't seen a replay of this. Wasn't Antonio just diving into the pile trying to recover the loose ball? If so, that was a bogus penalty. Anyone see a replay on this? He's a ninja, though, and ninjas need to play smarter. That penalty was dumb.

I realize that the Bengal was down by contact. But, there was a loose ball, and the refs generally let contact after the whistle go in instances of loose balls. Without the benefit of replay, I thought the call was weak.I watched that play again three times shortly after the flag was thrown and, despite the bad camera angle, you can see Antonio spearing either Lee or a Bengal lineman on the ground because he thought there was a scrum for the football. Unfortunately, the refs had clearly blown the whistle and there was no fumble at all. I don't know what he was doing but it wasn't smart football.
With the hands JJ showed yesterday I wonder if our WR2 problem might not be solved.....
What's that boys 40 time? Does he feel up to playing a few snaps on offense every now and then?
Maybe he could be our part time Gronkowski?

This!^^^
Watt made the big game changing play, but Smith was unblockable the whole game. His shoulder must be better, he's looked awesome the past two games.
I tell you, I keep watching that interception and I'm about halfway convinced that Watt used the force on that.
JJ Watt: Jedi Knight.
I would have to say, the offense as a whole playing almost mistake free football with few penalties.
Please... leave the Star Wars gimmicks at bay. The last time you dubbed a player, he busted badly.
Amobi-wan was it?
He doesn't get a lot of hype...but name a defensive player you would take over him right now from last years draft...maybe Von Miller? WE got a steal
We made plenty of mistakes starting with Arian's fumble. The Bengals simply did not capitalize. The Ravens defense will not fail there.
Not much you could do with "Amobi Okoye" so I plead guilty. It was either that or a play on the Nigerian Email Scammer.
In hindsight that probably would have been more accurate.
"Greetings! I am Amobi Okoye and I am currently a legendary NFL defensive lineman looking to deposit 10 million dollars in an account in the United States before the Houston Texans realize I've stolen it...."
But Watts catching that pass? I'm not going to whip up some pictures or anything but that was some wicked-fast stuff there. You gotta admit that it was closer to a Jedi move than anything Amobi ever did.
I love Watt and wouldn`t trade him for anybody else... but Von Miller, Aldon Smith and Ryan Kerrigan all had great seasons and I still believe Peterson has a bright future. Watt might not be the best player out of this bunch - but with his combination of character, work ethic, motor, passion and skill and position of need, I am very glad we have him.
