Not really in a spot right now to look this up but has anyone ever run the table in the AFC South since our inception? My best guess is that the Colts might have done it...but I doubt the Jags or Titans have done it.
Could we possibly be the first?
Win you run the table in the division, you're playoff bound no matter what almost. Texans have had a great season. A one loss team if Schaub and Andre Johnson had stayed healthy this year.

Right now the Colts are getting bent over the table.
You do know we lost three games with a healthy Schaub & two games with a healthy Schaub & Aj, right?[/QUOT
Only lost 1 game with a healthy Andre, the Saints.
He was hurt against the Steelers and missed the Ravens and Raiders game.
Plus we didn't have Foster against the Saints.
Nobody beat us with all 3 in the lineup. Of course it only happened for a quarter and a half against the Steelers.

Run the table in the division and all you're assured of is a 6-10 record. The Raiders almost did that last year, sweeping the division but only winning 2 games outside it and missing the playoffs. I think the Bengals did a similar sort of thing a couple of years ago.
Cincy got the playoffs that year and folded to the Jets twice.
The 2008 Cardinals swept the NFC West, but went 3-7 outside the division. Once the playoffs started, however, Arizona took care of business and won 3 straight before losing a tight game to Pittsburgh in the Super Bowl.Run the table in the division and all you're assured of is a 6-10 record. Yeah, I should have been clearer about that.
With Cincy, I meant to say that they were great in their division but crap out of it. So even though they got to the playoffs, there wasn't a team they could beat once they got there.

Lesson? Get to the playoffs however you can. And hope for a little magic.
