From the Foxsports site week six run down.....

Texans at Seahawks: Just back from a long road trip? Struggling to cope with injuries to your wide receivers and defensive backs? Welcome home, Seahawks: prop up your feet, turn on some soothing music and enjoy a tasty cupcake of an opponent.

If I were a Football player that would be the WORST insult.... Come on guys lets try to win this one..... :texflag:

Wow. I can't imagine being a player on this team right now. Would love to see them suprise Seattle, but...

:goodnight

You have to watch our for those sprinkles, if you get one of those puppies caught in your throat, it could be the end of you.

does anybody else get the feeling we might win this national game, and then maybe somehow beat the colts??? or am i just crazy, it would be one hell of an way to shoot back up the respect latter

At this point we've fallen off the respect ladder and are laying on the ground with a broken hip saying "I've fallen and I can't get up." We need to worry about climbing up the dignity/self-respect ladder before we even consider the respect ladder.

If we beat both the Seahawks and the Colts it really would be a miracle. I also get the feeling that you haven't watched any of the last four games....

actually i live out in California, so i dont see many games, so im happy i get to see this game, the Kansas City game, and i am like 25 minutes away from San Francisco, so i can get to see them play the Niners as well. really the most i get to see are the highlights comcast does on its digital cable. thats about it....back to football, it would be up there with a great miracle, but the Seahawks are not that great of a team, they can put up points, but the D is not so great, although our offense might make them look the part. i dont want the players to look past this game, but i can, and i want to see if anything, the colts lose for the first time in the season, and its first time to us. we just need to play right in Seattle, and hopefully a snowball effect can happen in the Texans favor this time around

What about those stale cupcakes. They'll take your eye out man. Seahawks better watch out.

If there is one thing I've learned from the many years of watching the NFL . . . is that every dog has its day.

That will only hurt them the week after playing the Texans. No help for us there :(

This is definentally the time to put up or shut up. If we somehow pull out a win this week then there is a glimmer of a chance of turning this season around. With a loss they can stick a fork in us for sure. I'll always have hope for my team. I'm not expecting a win this sunday but wouldnt it be sweet to see a complete 180 by our boys! :texflag:

 Hey, the POTUS choked on a little pretzel, so I suppose the no. 1 offense in the NFL could, conceivably, eat too many cupcakes and gag, too!

Nobody else is getting that feeling. So, yes, you are crazy.

I admire your optimism, though! :thumbup Unfortunately, the little realist in me has chased my little optimist dude into a cave deep in the Afgan mountains. I don't think he'll come out of hiding until sometime in 2006.

Unfortuanetly for the Seahawks Hasselback is allergic to Short Chocolate cupcakes thats name hold the initials DR. I see us winning by 3 in a upset

You see that, why? any good reason?

Don't underestimate the softness of the NFC West.

If you pull the upset, I won't be all too suprised.
He's right. The NFC West is about as soft as the Colts defense is overrated. Baltimore, Jacksonville, Cleveland, Tennessee, and San Francisco? Anybody see a high flying offense in that bunch?

Methinks one of the highest flying offenses in the NFL (and oh by the way, in the NFC West) is going to knock the Colts defense upside the head this week. Peyton better pick up the pace this year because while the Rams defense is garbage, their offense is still as good as any. In fact, it's number two in the league. With all due respect to my Texan fan friends, I see an upset in Indy as a MUCH more likely scenario than you may be thinking.
