Yates tweet from the plane

It simply said "Boom" with this picture:

I'd say that sums it up well...

Maybe next time he'll get his parents some better seats! He did great, deserves it!

I think they sat there on purpose. I figure somebody in the Texans organization probably offered them seats closer to the action. I bet he said in the huddle before the game winning throw "Time to make momma proud!".

I thought it was only appropriate that TJ Yates' family was at the worst seating area of the stadium.

They were not near the sideline. They stayed pretty much as far away as you could get, letting TJ Yates have the moment and do his thing. I would almost think it was by design, actually. IMO, it was self deprecating of them. Humble.

If anything, hell I think they were moving into the sun a bit and out of the shade. They STILL didn't try to grab some seats close the field. Just moved into the sun to get some warmth on them.

You know what? They also figured they didn't want to hear what Bengals fan would be saying. Bengals fan throwing beer on them. Getting abusive with them. They were up there in their own little bubble, like watching their kid at a his first Pop Warner football game or something.

I thought it was awesome. And when we won, they had their own bubble up there and could just have fun and not worry about Bengals fan.

They said during the game that that is where the Bengals put the visiting team seats.

I heard the announcers say that they moved closer to the field, but were sent back up by security. It was funny to see all those empty seats, though.

Doesn't the team have someone who buys tickets for the players? Why is this on Cincinnati?

Mainly because when they were first on camera, two rows from the very top, Marv Albert stated that's where the Bengals orginazation puts the visiting teams guests.

Wonder if Bob will do the classy thing and invite them to his suite for the Panthers game.
