So who's going to greet the AFC South Champs at the Airport?

I was listening to 610 and they were talking about people already wearing the AFC South Champs shirts and hats and how they are expecting people to greet the team when they get off the plane. This brings me back to memories when I was a kid with the Rockets winning championships and how fever-pitched this city was. First ever playoff berth as AFC South Champs! I hope there is a large crowd to greet them when they land, this team has been incredible. I can't wait to move back to Houston in a couple of weeks, I can feel the buzz already.

Update: Sportsradio610 says to meet the team at Reliant at the entrance at McNee and Kirby between 7 30- 830

Update II: Go to Bud Plaza at 7 30

Texans return welcome info: Arrival will be 7:30-8 p.m. Fans are directed to go between McNee and Kirby, northwest of stadium. North lot.

Wow, looks like an awesome place to be right now. I couldn't make it because, well, I live in a different country, but I am happy you guys are out there to support them. I am still so jacked up right now. What a day!
 
I was at the Astrodome when the Oilers came back from Pittsburg. I'm happy now but the real celebration is when we beat the Steelers this year for the AFC Championship.

It was built on Rock and Roll...pun intended.

I went and memo to Texans Event Coordinators - the sound system needed the volume to be higher. It was hard to hear the players. And build the stage higher so we can see the players over the arms and hands trying to take pictures. I know this is our first time and it was last minute, but maybe next time. Just a couple of things we could work on. Great time still.

They should have put the players on the balcony above the entrance. Everyone would have been able to see them. All I could see were people sitting on shoulders and a sea of camera phones. Still - it was a blast!
