I have been to the first of about everything for this team so I will be doing what I can to go the first ever playoff game.

If anyone is thinking about selling 1 of their tickets let me know. If you are trying to bank that is OK, just let me know what you are looking for before you throw it up on ebay or something else. I would rather pay someone I know than going the whole ebay/broker route.

I called the Texans on Monday, they said all playoff tickets for general seating have been completely sold out! She said they hadn't gotten all season ticket holders yet, but felt sure they would.

She said that if there are season ticket holders/psl owners that do not purchase, they would be released to general seating.

Keep an eye out!

I too want to go and have been looking here and other places.
I did see a good buy of 2 seats in the 647 section row A for around $450, thats not too bad.

According to Jamie Root this morning on 610, it looks like there will be about 4,000 to 5,000 tickets that will go on sale late this month. Nothing has been sold out yet. Season ticket holders take up 66,000 of the 71,000 seats.

1. I would like to hear what they are going for in the secondary market - as soon as I hear back from some folks I need to contact some other folks with what I am selling at. I want to be fair, but I also don't want to get robbed myself.

2. Are season ticket holders being offered their seats?

Stubhub has tickets listed starting at $150-$2500 per ticket for the playoffs already.

My rep stated they were gone *shrug*

I think I will set my ticket at the price of 50 trillion dollars so I can pay off the deficit while I sit home and watch the game

I would imagine that cheap seats will go for 2.5 to 3.5 over face, lower level will hit anywhere from 3 to 6 times face depending on what row it is.

Tickets for the Steelers game were about that 2.5-3x range. I'd imaging our first ever playoff game would be comperable, at least. Just imagine if we faced the steelers in that one... 5-6x range more likely!

That said, we need to keep winning to (a) make the playoffs and (b) have some home games. Here's to being 1st or 2nd Seed! :toast2:

PM'ed.

I sold a pair of Bullpen seats for $600 for the Steelers game. That was over 4 times face. I sold 620's for $275 per pair for the Steelers game, that was almost 4 times face. Playoff tickets are going to be crazy! I am glad I have mine!

I figured there would be rioting in the streets if the answer was no, but some times you don't know with things like the NFL.

When we got our non-PSL season tickets, they told us we would get the option to buy the playoff tickets if we made it that far; that was one of the main reasons I bought thru the texans vs. the secondary market.

I have 2 non PSL season tickets and I bought mine. I sat through 9yrs of mostly bad football there was no way in hell I was going to miss our first playoff run.

If you’re looking for tickets to the Texans’ first playoff game next weekend, don’t bother going anywhere.

Playoff tickets won’t be available at the Reliant Stadium box office or at Ticketmaster outlets. Instead, tickets can be purchased only online at Ticketmaster.com, beginning at 10 a.m. Friday.

But hurry – fewer than 2,000 tickets will be distributed through online sale. The date – Saturday or Sunday – time and opponent for the game the Texans will host at Reliant will be announced following the conclusion of all of this weekend’s games, as the NFL will release the schedule that evening.

Well, I certainly hope so ... I clearly stated it is what I was told.

But if your online happiness is contingent on always being right, I'ma let you have this one. Take the day, no, take the whole weekend with that satisfaction.

Thanks for sharing!

It offered me 1 single ticket as well, but when I went to check out, I got an "unable to process your request" message. Must be all out now, I can't find another one.

I tried getting into Ticketmaster to get tickets for friends. I did get it to find a single seat but no pairs were available. There must have only been scattered singles throughout.

Do you have to set up an account to buy off that site? I missed the sell time by a few minutes and wasn't able to get a ticket.

I logged on at 10am, ticketmaster had none!

They were already sold. Probaly all taken by ticket brokers. That would not surprise me with Ticketmaster. Ticketmaster probaly made a deal with a bunch of them ticket broker companies and sold them before they were supposed to sell them. You can bet on that.....and its not the first time that has happened.....many concert tickets are like that....never offered to public and sold before they were supposed to be sold....

Don't know if you have one yet Kevin, but I might have one for you...

Sent you a PM

I'm glad you got in brother!! Go Texans!!

I ended up getting what I think is a good deal, a pair in the 7th row of the bullpen for $600.

I cant imagine those seats were more than $150 face. But everyone puts a value on what a playoff ticket is worth to them.

I have 2 seats in section 551. Playoff seats were $95 each. I see tickets in that section for sale @ $300 each.

I sold all of my 115, 116, 618, and 621 tickets, I am going to take the game in from my 519 seats and have plenty of money for beer!

From what Charlie Pallilo was saying earlier today, the Texans were charging psl holders $75 per seat for this game. If the Texans were to host the AFC Championship game, those seats are then $168 each. I'm sure someone here can verify.

As far as going through ticket brokers it sounds like a decent deal. But considering what they are normally going for it's insane. That said, this game is the first one ever after waiting 10 years. Had I the $$$ I'd probably pay as well. The Bullpen was lots of fun during the bad games. I hope he didn't actually plan on using the seat itself. Otherwise he won't be able to see much other than the asses of those in front of him.

If you haven't checked already, go to NFL Ticket Exchange. I've found prices on there to be lower than on Stub Hub. Right now there are upper level seats for sale for under $100 and even lower level ones for around $200. Most of the tickets are from season ticket holders and are automatically sent to your email.

got 2 tickets yesterday, 138 row dd for 388 for the pair total in hand. If you want the website pm me, don't know if i can list it on here. ticketexchange is good too.

I got mine for face value from an upstanding board member here yesterday. He even later said for me to save my money and took off $15 off what I agreed to pay for me to buy my kid a gift. We have a great community here at TexansTalk! Thank you, Senor!

You got it bro!!!

I know you will represent well!

I know brokers and the cost of the tickets has tanked. People are watching the news and thinking they can get $3000 for crap tickets. A lot more sellers than buyers.

You might be able to get some today for half-price
